We had reservations on the rooftop and it was very windy so we asked if we could be seated indoor. The staff accommodated us with friendly smiles and found us a table indoors. Our server was fun, happy to serve us and attentive to our table. We loved the food and drinks! Highly recommend to all! We had a great time!

Very nice spot to go and have a drink and small bite. We had an app and some pizzas, the pizzas were good and the atmosphere and the views were great

Pizza is decent. Charcuterie board had no cheese. Everything comes in take-out containers. But atmosphere is amazing. Staff is very accommodating- we arrived an hour early by mistake, were a party of 6 and they accommodated us, and even moved us on request for better seating. Wish it was more adult friendly / less kid friendly.

We love visiting the hotel roof top when we have company staying. Last night was not our best visit. The wait staff were very under staffed and overwhelmed. It wasn't even that busy. Long time for service. They were trying but it was not great

This may be a first for a restaurant review. My Party showed up for dinner reservations, and the restaurant was a no-show. It had rained earlier in the day, but was clear skies at the time of our reservations. We went to the rooftop and nobody was there. No one could explain anything other than to say well it rained earlier. I understand that but a phone call or a text message or notification from OpenTable would have been nice to let me know. Totally ruined our evening.

The food and drinks were really bad, except the french onion pizza, which was amazing. They were short staffed when we went, and the waiters were clearly working really hard so shout-out to them. One of us dropped a drink and they charged us for the replacement. Which is fine but considering the crazy wait times it would've been nice to have it comped. It's very possible your experience would be a ton better than mine so check it out if you want.

The food and drinks were subpar. Portions with further drinks are not great for the prices and quality. You're just paying too much for nothing. Special to go to a rooftop place that's extremely congested

Service and drinks are both excellent. We ordered cheese ($24) and charcuterie ($28) platters for six people. While the quality was good, the quantity and how it was served was very disappointing. They threaten $1000 fines for cups going over the railings, but they bring out paper plates, disposable napkins and cutlery, and the platters were in plastic to-go containers. We love this hotel, rooftop and Salt restaurant, but they do better for customers and the environment if they served the food on regular plates and metal utensils. The floor of the roof is soft so nothing would break, but more importantly it won't blow around and makes for a much better dining experience. All they need to do is figure out the logistics to move clean/dirty dishes up and down the service elevator. We will be back, but probably not buying any food on the rooftop again.

The drinks were fine, but in short plastic disposable glasses. The view is partially blocked by the 48” high walls, designed to keep guests from falling over. Otherwise a nice vibe for adults and families with kids. We will return!

Overall, the view and ambience was super nice. However, understand they were short staffed but it took 25 mins to get a drink. Once we did, we were immediately given the bill without asking which was off putting as we would've ordered more drinks. We were continuously asked if we were set with the bill even though we were still drinking. Seemed like they wanted us to leave. Not a great experience.

I have a lot to unpack here. We made a reservation for 15 and were under the assumption tables would be merged to provide ample seating. Upon arrival, we were offered the choice of sitting at three tables (consisting of 5-6 seats) or sitting on the large and spacious orange couches. Due to wanting food, we opted for the tables - meaning our party of 15 would be seated separately. One table was slightly isolated as there was a partition of plants between it and the other two tables. Had we known of the table issue, we probably wouldn’t have had a reservation here.
Furthermore, we specifically inquired about a vegan pizza option and were assured that there was such a pizza when placing our reservation. This was a big reason in placing our reservation as we had vegans with us that we didn’t want to leave out of our pizza dinner. Our last visit in July 2023 the vegan pizza option was delightful and enjoyed by vegans and non-vegans alike.
Had we known our party would be divided at tables, as well as the knowledge that there was no vegan pizza option, we certainly would not have placed a reservation. While these issues may not be important to everyone, it greatly soured our experience and we’re not certain to return in the future (July 2023 we spoke of returning every trip to LBI).
On the bright side, the food that was eaten was tasteful and the service was great. We wish we’d known of the tables and the lack of a vegan pizza - but outside of those the experience was good.

Great service and fantastic food. The views are amazing and unfortunately, we just missed the Sunset! Tylor, at the bar, was great. He was very helpful helping my wife figure out what drink to try. Pizza was delicious as was the shrimp cocktail. We will definitely return. Casey runs/manages all the bars I even stopped by our table to introduce him. Fun music played softly in the background, which was great for the ambience, but never loud enough to interfere with a conversation. The staff truly cared about the customer. even while walking out through the lobby, one of the workers struck up a conversation and brought us for a tour the rest of hotel. The staff was what you think of when you imagine southern hospitality.
