Stopped in the short hills location earlier today to pick up a few pairs I had ordered online. They didn’t quite fit as expected but I was able to exchange them for the sizes that fit me best thanks to Kathy. She knew every detail of every shoe and really took the time to make sure I was happy with my purchases. I will definitely be returning for a pair of boots soon!

The store itself is good and the staff is accommodating, however the quality control of the shoes at manufacturing could be better (and the decline has been noted in shoe's communities online). You will also want to check other manufacturers if you have very wide feet.

Unlike others', mine was a rather unpleasant experience on Saturday Oct 19, @7.30pm. The store had two customers in it and two sales associates - one who was busy at the cashier, the other who could not multitask. After 15 minutes of standing there I suggested to the salesperson that he tries to help two customers at the same time. This proved somewhat possible, and after long 35 minutes I walked out the store with new shoes and trees (thank God I knew exactly what I needed). I typically don't make a fuss about these things (or give negative reviews) but the experience was particularly annoying because an hour earlier my AE wingtip (which I had purchased some three months ago) literally lost its heel in the streets of New York, and I was in a desperate need of a replacement dress shoe. So, to sum up, circumstances forced me to shop with a company I no longer trust (the declining quality control of AE is now a recurring theme on many forums), whose shoes prove to be a poor value, and whose sales associates let a customer wait unnoticed for quarter an hour, in an almost empty store.

Terrible customer service great product. Buy online! The staff is disgusting and disrespectful. They must work on commission because they will leave you to jump and help other patrons they deem "wealthier". If you want to be profiled and judged by this is the place to go.

Where to begin? I've neber had such a pleasant expirence before in my life. Upon entering the store I was greeted by Enva who took my size and helped me choose the right boot. He even took the time to show me how you do the “bar lace†method when all laces on the shoe are uniform. A few minutes into behind helped Kathy overheard me mention how I wish I could buy the red laces on the boots. I know they don't normally sell those. I start to lace up my shoes to walk up to the register and she surprises me with brand new laces!! That was so nice and so thoughtful. They are too nice in there. I've never held such a high quality pair of boots before. The leather is above any brand I own. Thank you guys for such a great shopping expirence.
