Staff are very rude and speak in demeaning manner. Felt judged as soon as I walked into the store and was dismissed by the group of female workers who stood around gossiping.

The most offensive and disgusting shopping experience I ever had. Came here with my friend to look at engagement dresses. We were treated horrendously with the workers being incredibly rude and obnoxious. We were profiled as they asked us if we were workers in the mall. It was unfathomably shocking to hear what was coming from their mouths. We could not believe the utter disrespect we were receiving as my friend and I continued to remain respectful and courteous. Be careful who you judge and how you speak to them. You have lost business from a multitude of potential customers.

I want to preface this review by saying that this is all based on my personal experience there, and is not a reflection of everyone there. Previous reviews to mine all mention the cleanliness and ambiance of the mall, and I will agree with them. The mall is beautiful with plenty of free parking (with the option to valet, if you choose) and nearby entrances. Inside, the mall is clean with plenty of areas to sit down and relax. There is a wide selection of stores with a number of high end stores in that mix that you wouldn't commonly find at other malls. Overall, I love the mall. It's easy for me to get what I need and be in and out quickly. However, when it comes to my encounters with employees there, it does vary. I've had days where everyone is extremely polite and respectful, and I've had different experiences where I am spoken to in a condescending manner and made to feel very uncomfortable. As I mentioned previously, it is not a reflection of everyone, or the mall itself, but it has happened enough times that I thought it was important to mention it in my review. Will I stop going to this mall? Probably not since there is the convenience factor applied, however, it's unfortunate that there are still people who think it okay to not be nice to others, regardless what they look like.

Very nice mall. Not crowded and plenty of chairs everywhere. Very clean. Mostly high end brands. They also have Bloomingdale's, Macy's etc. No food court just restaurants.

Nice mall with plenty of upscale shopping. The Rolex store i use to get service at closed during covid. I believe there is a new authorized dealer located in the mall. Clean and friendly staff throughout. Nice food court. I will return.

One of my favorite high end malls. All of the European designers are here. Very spacious and clean mall. The atmosphere definitely will have you buying something before leaving. Parking lot is free and widespread with several levels. Safe with security frequently driving around. I've shopped at Louis Vuitton for a bracelet i needed to exchange. Pleasant experience, my SA was very nice and patient with me looking through an assortment of bracelets. I've done a pick up for a Prada back pack bag I've ordered online. Pleasant experience. Showed my confirmation email and ID and my item was waiting for me. I've done a return at Gucci for a belt that didn't fit properly. Pleasant experience. The SA are so nice and don't be shy to ask them for water (Panna glass bottled water). As an African American woman i felt comfortable in each store and throughout the mall. Everyone is friendly. And it's a nice place to just walk around sight see, shop or relax in the lounge areas. Of course many dining/ food options available as well. Restrooms are clean and spacious! :)

Consistently upscale, clean, and not overcrowded, this is a great place to shop and people-watch. Wide selection of stores with some very nice high-end shops on the second floor near Nordstroms.

I rarely update old reviews but after visiting most, if not all, the malls in North Jersey, I have to say that the Mall at Short Hills is still hands down the best mall (sorry, not sorry Garden State Plaza!). There's free parking, plenty of high-end/luxury designer stores mixed in with department stores (e.g., Bloomingdales, Macy's, Nordstrom), home goods stores, specialty item stores, and typical brands you'd expect to see as well (e.g., J.Crew, Banana Republic, Aritiza, etc.). This mall is spacious, easy to navigate and walk around, even with a lot of people there it doesn't even feel overly crowded, or too loud, and doesn't have the constant barrage of sounds and smells. The stores here have a whole different vibe in that the people who work there (regardless of the store) are kind, professional, courteous, and actually offer customer service and are willing to HELP YOU find what you are looking for (something that I had honestly forgotten existed) after so long. This is the only mall in NJ that didn't give me straight-up anxiety and make me feel like I needed to get in and out as fast as humanly possible and actually made me want to walk around and enjoy a proper afternoon at the mall and browse. Talk about a relaxed atmosphere, something I think stopped existing after the early 2000s. Even though this mall is much smaller than GS, it has a solid range of stores and I think given the distance from NYC proper and GS, it makes keeps a lot of the chaos and foot traffic at bay. This mall is solid and consistently provides such an easier and more enjoyable experience than other shopping malls.

I had an appointment at the Short Hills location for a complicated situation with the repair/battery for my Must 21 watch. Katherine Ibanez helped me and the moment she came to speak to me I knew I was in good hands. Katherine was extremely personable, patient, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to find a solution to my problem. She even contacted the headquarters of Cartier numerous times to get this settled and kept me in the loop. When the watch came back from repair, she sent it overnight mail and even included a personalized note along with Cartier perfume samples, which I will definitely use! She really made me feel special with her personal attention and detail to my matter. She is an employee with heart and an asset to Cartier. Thank you.
