While we love the products, the customer service staff in this location definitely needs training. Management should make sure the staff is qualified and has on-going trainings. The issue was happened around 11AM on 12/17/23 at Short Hills store. Two of the flicker candles I bought early this year are not working now. I am wondering if there is any warranty. Sara, who is in charge of customer service, told me that the flicker candles I brought were not purchased from Crate & Barrel. Where did such conclusion come from? If you are unable to locate the purchase from my Crate & Barrel credit card and is unable to assist further, please simple state the fact. If your conclusion is based on the lack of Crate & Barrel logo on the products, Crate & Barrel carries so many third party products without Crate & Barrel logo on them. In addition, the cashier clearly showed you the products I brought are still on the Crate & Barrel website. Furthermore, I bought another three items today and no Crate & Barrel logo were showed on them. The way Sara represented Crate & Barrel customer service was unprofessional. The communication was horrible and negatively impact the brand reputation. We purchase those third party products offered by Crate & Barrel because we believe Crate & Barrel has comprehensive vendor due diligence and on-going quality monitoring. Going forward, I will just order online to avoid the unpleasant communication with unprofessional staff.

Called to ask if I could have a prepaid label provided to return an item purchased at this store… fyi I have spent thousands at crate and Barrel and cb 2 over the last three years…I received a curt no… no sorry no explanation… I then asked about return policy for holiday shopping and was given an incorrect answer!This associate was totally incompetent…Very disappointed

One of this mall's stalwart stores for decades. The place to go if you need a hostess/host gift, a housewarming gift, or a basket of kitchen stuff for your kid going off to college.

It’s an absolutely gorgeous, welcoming high end store. Unfortunately, the help is absolutely terrible. You go to the back of the store to look at dinnerware sets and have 3 “associates” talking amongst themselves, not acknowledging one customer. This was on 11/10/23 around 4:00. I hope the higher ups/management/supervisor takes this into consideration and get it together with their hiring process. It *really* takes away from the beautiful store that it truly is.

Had the worst experience with Crate & Barrel and their couch delivery and overall customer service team. I would not recommend them to anyone, a lot of better competitors out there. They are thieves, they totally botched the delivery, damaged the walls of my home, and have kept my money. I have now spent couple thousand dollars and have no couch to show for, and their customer service team doesn't get back to you and keeps saying we will call you and they don't, liars. Totally untrustworthy, terrible company. Their delivery drivers use profanity against you and think you don't understand their language.

Great products but way over priced. Your paying for the name, and almost everything you buy doesn't have the name on it! One of my favorite stores to window shop for inspiration from a more reasonable priced store.

I shop at Crate and BarrelShort Hills mall often. Most of times, they are very helpful. But I also had bad experience when I looked for a product's maintenance information. An associate from furniture dept. refused to provide any helpful information, and vey condescending. Even after my explaining that I was looking for information,only, instead of product replacement, she simply said could not do anything, very difficult person to talk with , very rude. However, the store manager stepped in and was very helpful on the information I was looking for.

Terrible Experience, I went to this location less than a month ago and fell in love with the duvet inserts, I bought that along with a Hemp cover. I tried the hemp cover and ended up being allergic to it and caused me to breakout. After that, I went to the store to exchange the product for a cotton version, the manager Audrey would not allow me to exchange or return the cover due to the fact that I washed it. This is absolutely ridiculous, the fact that I paid $300 for a cover and she would not even allow me to get store credit. Did not care about my experience one bit, I was so disappointed and was going to buy more things from Crate and Barrel - needless to say after this experience I will never buy anything from this place again. They lost a customer in me.
