I wish I could give this place a zero rating but that is not possible. My dad purchased a keychain from me in Portugal and didn’t realize it was all scratched up and looked like it was in used condition (which isn’t our problem as a customer nobody’s going to stand there with a magnifying glass, it’s LV’s job to ensure they are selling items which are in immaculate condition considering the price you’re paying) , I called customer service and they told me to bring it to the LV store to get a brand new keychain. I went to the store today and the manager and her rude colleague both repeatedly told me there is nothing there could do and it is in used condition, which is the way it was sold to me. How is that my\\nproblem LV is selling me a used item ? I honestly don't care where the LV store is, whether it is abroad or in Jersey or NY, LV as a corporation should be dealing with the customers with better customer service. I have never been more mad over an item in a long time. Beware of their terrible customer service. I don't know how they are still in business it’s ridiculous to be selling thousand's of dollars worth of items and cannot provide decent customer care. We have purchased thousands of dollars worth of Louis Vuitton items and have never had a worse experience ever. Very dissapointed .

My daughter brought a scarf and wore it decided she didn’t like it. Do the next day she took it back. It did have some slight marks on it however the way we were treated was uncalled for. I get it prestige condition but we were treated as if we were beneath them. I will not be returning to this store. If you’re not happy with something you should be able to return even target is not that strict. They need better customer service

[Great Experience] I was just here few days ago with my fiance. Nesta greeted us from the moment we went in and helped us to find the exact purse I was looking for. She was very sweet and gentle the whole time that I felt very comfortable while shopping.I will definitely be asking for her when I return to this LV location. :)I don't know if workers read google reviews/comments, but If they do I want Nesta to know that we very much enjoyed her assistance and she has a really room brightening energy. We were so grateful to get assistance from Nesta. I hope that she will be there the next time I visit :)

Terrible customer service. Visited the store at short hills on 10/28 at 6:30 PM. No one greeted, came to offer help, or answer questions. We approached to ask if someone could help. There were three staff who were just hanging around and one of them was on the phone texting. They made us wait 10 minutes and no one was assigned to help. We left because they did not seem interested to sell. This is probably in line with their artificial demand strategy. LV needs to rethink how they select their staff and their store service levels.

Yesterday I had my first LV experience, and omg, what a disappointment. Maybe I put too much expectations!? I don’t know. I never thought I would be here giving them 1 star and writing a bad review. But after reading so many bad reviews at this specific LV I noticed many other costumers didn’t have good experience. Long story short, I’ve been wanting this specific purse for years, but there was always some other priorities. Beginning of the year I set that as a goal, and told myself I was going to save to buy it. Beginning of October was my birthday and wedding. As a nice gesture, seeing I’ve been working hard to save for the Louis, my husband gave it to me. Unfortunately, it has the wrong pattern. We went to Short Hills to return it, spoke to Jeffrey (so far the best sells person) which did all the return process and ordered a new one. It was out of stock and took 3 weeks to arrive. Jeffrey, very kind, texted my husband letting him know the purse was in store. We went to pick it up yesterday, October 21. At our arrival we couldn’t find any sales person available, so just kept walking till someone ask if he needed help. I said I was looking for Jeffrey since we were dealing with him since the beginning. The guy said anyone could help since it was just a pick up. It took a long time for someone to bring me the purse. While waiting another lady asked us if we needed help. Since I heard her speaking Portuguese with another costumer I mentioned I was also Brazilian. My husband, who is a few months younger than me , was by my side, and she asked me if he was my soon. That can sound silly, but I don’t look old at all. And he doesn’t look that young to be my son. We both looked at her with no reaction. Very rude! Then finally the purse arrives, now a lady, puts it on the table, gives it to me and leaves and i was like “ok, i looked at it and now what!?”. After chatting with her coworker she comes back, takes the purse to box it and its when Jeffrey is available to say hi, and brings us the purse after its been boxed. After seven years, I left the store so disappointed. That was never the experience I imagined to have. If I should have ordered it online I wouldn’t have to pass for that situation, but I was looking for a great experience in person.

I have shopped at this LV store for years and also in several other locations! I bought a bag few years ago which I did not use often and for some reason started to fall apart. Plus, the black buckle stained a few things . which made it look very cheap. I couldn’t wear it anymore. I came to the short hills location and from the minute I walked in up til dealing with Diana in text!! I couldn’t be more delighted. She told me there would be a fee which was pretty high. I was very disappointed and upset! Then Diana texted me back and helped me out! I was ecstatic. Diana couldn’t be more understanding and nice. I will definitely be back to buy something else shortly! Knowing that LV has terrific workers like Diana to deal with if a problem occurs!! I do have other LV item which for the most part hold up Amazing. I am very happy with the other items.Thank you again Diana!Very satisfied customer

I shopped at this store several times in the past 10+ years. My experience was not good just as many reviewers’ comments here so I started shopping online since a few years ago. I didn’t even bother to write a review for this store but now I want to say it out loud that a client advisor Wendy W from this store totally amazed me and changed my impressions of in-store shopping.Wendy is always kind, caring, attentive and helpful. I bet you will have more positive words after you get help from her in Short Hills store. She will do her best to help you even you are looking for out-of-stock items.I wish I met her many years ago so I didn’t have to go to a store in upstate New York for a popular item last Christmas. A wrong way driver swirled to my lane and caused a serious accident. My car was totaled. My husband and I were blessed to get away with minor injuries. We met Wendy on 1/23/23 and I learned I could've get client advisor's help to order from other stores.I wish you all best luck and enjoy shopping at LV Short Hills. Trust me!! Wendy’s unparalleled service will amaze you, too.

My family and I have been shopping at LV Short hills for over a decade. However, ever since their location change within the mall, the experience has not been the same. The staff is rude and does not even ask if you need assistance. When I asked for assistance, the saleswoman was bothered by me and rolling her eyes. I asked to change my salesperson because she was rude, but I was not allowed to. I went in to buy a handbag, and the experience was so bad that I ended up not purchasing.

I wanted to do something special for my wife for her birthday and Client Advisor Ms. Beryl, at your Short Hills NJ location, was nothing short of amazing. I was able to reserve a time to come in with my wife(As a surprise) and had Champagne and Chocolate covered strawberries delivered to the store prior to us arriving. She made sure everything was ready and waiting when my wife and I arrived. She set it up so her colleague Joseph(who is also amazing) met us at the entrance, he knew my wife's and I name and greeted us. We then walked to the back of the store to a sitting area where we sat and were treated like a king and queen. The presentation of my wife's gift by Joseph went off without a hitch and she was completely surprised and overwhelmed by such an amazing experience. I thank Beryl and team so much for assisting me with such an amazing moment for my wife.

Went there today to hot stamp an item and purchase a fragrance. I made contact with a salesperson (male) and informed him of what I wanted and he told me it would be a short wait. No one else asked if they could assist us. He went on to finish assisting his customer and when done, he made eye contact with me and decided to assist another couple that arrived after us, so we left. This is the second time I felt unseen this location and I’ve been an LV customer for over 25 years. I will never return to this location.

Not happy with the store at Short Hills. Bought a light colored wallet (2 weeks ago) and didn't notice a few minor scuffs on the backside of wallet. Tried to exchange and was told nothing they can do. Poor customer service.

As happy as I am with the purchase I made today on my first LV bag, I have to write about the upsetting experience I had at the Louis Vuitton in Short Hills Mall. Since obtaining my Master's degree (About 2 years ago) my husband and family have been getting me gift cards for birthdays, holidays, etc. to LV to save for something I really wanted which was extremely thoughtful and kind of them. After my 30th birthday last month I finally had collected enough to get something I really wanted. We planned for us all to go today to help me make sure and pick out something that looked good! I made my decision in less than 30 mins (good if you ask me haha).Before we were even assisted by someone, not one person greeted us and I waited 15 mins before even being put on a wait list to be helped by someone. After about 20 mins, a wonderful sales associate named Gabby helped me. I could only say great things about her. Unfortunately, when we went to the register to pay I was rudely told by a manager that they could not accept no more than 4 gift cards for one transaction. "That it was company policy and the register system wouldnt allow it." No where online, In their in person store policy or receipt is this written. Also, every gift card I received from my family was purchased in thatStore to which I had every receipt to prove it and no one told them of this policy.The manager quickly dismissed me and told me to call customer service in which I was on the phone with for over an hour in the store to which I was just repeatedly told "it's internal store policy". Never did they make their customers aware or is it in writing anywhere! My family would not have continued to buy all these gift cards if they were not allowed to be for the same Purchase. It was not until after almost 2 hours did a different store manager named Stacy come to help me in store after seeing how upset and frustrated my family and I were. She was extremely helpful and called the district manager to receive a second approval to move forward with my transaction. Not only did the first manager lie to me, but he was completely rude, dismissive, and never showed face after his colleague took the time to help me. Aside from my sales associate and this one manager, I can't say enough how disappointed I was in the experience that was supposed to be a pleasant and exciting time with my family who helped get me this bag. I understand there are much bigger problems, but I wanted to atleast write this in case anyone else had the idea to do gift cards for a family member as well as maybe advise going to a different LV. If it was not for the fact thatI had all these gift cards, I would be taking my business elsewhere.

When dealing with an upscale store such as LV, I really did expect an upscale experience. But boy, was I wrong. Where do I start??? I was looking for a particular belt, so I started with the online chat to try to locate it since the store closest to me didn't have it, and it wasn't in stock online, so I wanted to see if it would ever be restocked. The associate in the chat was more concerned about creating small talk with me than actually helping me find a solution, which was locating this belt. They made me create a profile before they could even help me, which was pointless and a waste of time. All of that just to tell me they don't know when it will be restocked. Then I came up with the idea if they could check nearby stores and if they found one in stock nearby, I would drive there. The chat associate kept insisting that I had to give them a specific store to get that information. I gave them my zip code, and asked if they can locate stores near me, but again it was the same thing- them insisting I give them a specific store. Long story short, I wasted almost an hour of my time and ended up doing it myself in 5 minutes, with no account needed. Fast forward, I found a store with 2 sizes available 2 hours away from me. I want this belt, so I make it a road trip and go. I get there, walk in, and expect someone to help me. Instead, all the employees are standing around socializing with each other. I find the belts, but I don't see the one I came for. I'm still waiting for someone to come help me, and I noticed 2 other families looking around for the same. No one ever comes, so I have to go find someone myself. I find employees still socializing amongst each other, paying no mind to the customers. I had to finally interrupt their conversation like I was an intrusion, and it felt very uncomfortable. So I asked about the belt, and am told that they don't keep all the stock out, and so the associate went searching through some drawers for the belt. There were 2 sizes available, and the sales associate insisted that the shortest one would be the best fit without even taking the time to measure the waist of the person the belt was for. Long story short again, we get home, and the belt is too short. I am just so dumbfounded why such an upscale store wouldn't give personalized service when it comes to choosing a size. Why insist on a size without taking a measurement? A whole 4 hour round trip and a whole day wasted. I am very disappointed in my whole experience from start to finish.

If you want to be ignored and have no service, this is the place for you.When asking a simple request to unhook an item for which she was within arm reach of, she told me: NO, that I needed to wait for someone else for which no one ever came.Worst Louis Vuitton store out of dozens I've been to around the country.I don't know how these employees keep their jobs because if I did something like this on my job I would be fired. Must be nice.
