Came to this place to buy a shoe. We found one but no size so they said they can order it for me. The staff said I will get a phone call as soon as it arrives to the store. Placed the order Dec. 23, 2023 the. Received an email saying it shipped Dec. 27, 2023. Jan. 5, 2024 and still no phone call so we decided to just drive to the store and just get a refund. We got there and the staff said it’s already there. They said they don’t know how long it’s been there. Unacceptable!

Very rude sales rep in the David Yurman area of Neiman Marcus. She's an older blonde lady who's possibly Russian or other Eastern European country. Maybe it's just her culture but she came off really irritated and annoyed that I wanted to shop for a silver ring.

I always take time to give reviews to stores mostly based on their customer service . As these days it’s not easy to find good hardworking store representative who go out of their way to make your shopping experience worthwhile and save a lot of your time just trying to find stuff in the store ( amongst so much of variety )I was there at this location at Christmas Eve . Was looking for clothing but was tight on time . Went to a register and a bunch of store associate standing on a register asked them if anyone can help me find a particular brand and out of them this young lady named Melkit quickly engaged herself to look for the items . On top of it she even went with me to another floor to help me find something for my niece . Not in the pretext that she will get the sales done but just to help and that too with a smiling face . I was a little stressed out that day doing last minute holiday shopping and she brought ease with her mannerism and calmness and kept on saying She is there to help me with anything until the store closes .I ended up getting quite a few things from Nieman just because of her genuine customer service. I could have gone to Nordstrom or Bloomingdales to look for better deals but choose not to saved a lot of time . Thanks to her and was so relaxed when I got back home !! Thanks to Melkit !

Tried to get a hold of the hand bag department for 5 days straight - every time too busy to take my call. Gave my name and number for a call back and never received one. Tried to purchase a 1200$ hand bag but they lost me as a customer.

This is the first year I did not stress myself out and leave the Christmas shopping for the last minute, and I am actually done as of today! Laura has been essential to making that happen for me this year and has been absolutely wonderful. I have used her for a couple years now, and she is an absolute gem. I know during this time of year, availability on certain items can sometimes be difficult, but she has been great with being able to locate and source the items I was looking for, and she gave me updates in a timely fashion. Her professionalism, communication, and the way she would promptly respond to my concerns were outstanding. Laura is the main reason why I keep on shopping at Neiman Marcus. Needless to say, she is an asset to the store and the company. Happy Holidays!!!

I recently had an exceptional shopping experience at Neiman Marcus, all thanks to the outstanding assistance of Sales Manager Roan Spencer.I was on the lookout for a Moose Knuckle jacket, and despite struggling to find help, Roan noticed my predicament and immediately stepped in to assist. His friendly demeanor, extensive product knowledge, and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly impressive. Roan went above and beyond, patiently answering my questions and ensuring I found the perfect jacket. Neiman Marcus is fortunate to have such a dedicated professional on their team.I am grateful for Roan's excellent service, making my shopping experience truly memorable.

I've gotten facials here in the past and never had a bad experience but I have broken capillaries and redness on my cheeks from her rubbing too hard from my last facial!!! She RUBBED a face mask off with her HANDS without WATER. Who does that ????

So beyond frustrated! Purchased 2 winter coats and a vest in the store. The vest had to be ordered since they did not have the size I needed. The woman who took my payment said it would be shipped in 5 to 7 days. Well it is way past that and I have not heard a word about my order. Went on my Neiman Marcus account. Found my receipt and it is noted that that one item was being shipped to my home. Nothing else, No email confirmation, no follow up nothing. So I click on the "chat" button and they are ZERO help. They tell me I have to call another number because they cannot help with store purchases. Really??? Gives me a number that is for returns and is closed SMH!!! Find my own customer service number and they give me the same story that I need to call the store. After I express my displeasure about Neiman Marcus the woman finds my order and says it is still processing. And that I will get an email when it ships. Forget it I dont even want it anymore. Neiman Marcus is so behind in their technology. I order in store and online with other companies and get text, email after email about my order from the confirmation to every step of the process. Why is this so difficult to keep a customer informed? A high retail store should have better customer service. I should have purchased a vest on Amazon I would have it already.

Your curbside service is a joke. These instructions from your email to me are a joke because the number has " no voice-mail set up".. and then IT HANGS UP ON YOU...Drive to your store, look for the signs & proceed to the designated pickup area.Valet/Curbside call 973-275-7076 as you arrive.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I came in to buy a Loewe, and they said they had to order the color I wanted. I came back to pick it up (I had to reach out to them to ask if it was ready for pickup and it was a long drive to the store as well), and it was scratched. They sent it to the prepare center and said they would send it to me in 2 days. It was on June 25. There was a bit delayed. I wasn't home to get it, so I told them to ship it after I came home, which was on June 30. (AGAIN, I had to reach out to them). On July 5, when I got back, I reached out to see if it shipped. They said they would send it, and I would get it on July 7. NOTHING came. I reached out again, but the associate was off that weekend. I called her yesterday morning to ask for tracking and updates. She said it'd be here by afternoon (Monday) or today (Tuesday). STILL NOTHING. No text, no tracking, no updates. I have reached out to Customer service so many times, but they said they can't track a store order. I am now desperate for a refund. LUXURY doesn't mean you will get a good service. Please go to a different location. I had a better experience at NM Garden State Plaza.

Horrible customer service, no order follow-up, request for a callback not returned... far cry from what the store used to be.A few days later stopped by the store again. Alas, I had to. The experience is even worse than before. What happened to the professionals who used to work there? They used to have a great professional knowledge, class, excellent people skills, and professional pride - none of which applies to the persons manning the store today. The store is doomed. Let's hope that smaller boutique shops can still manage to maintain their standards, because large department store corporations have lost it big time.

It was a pure pleasure to shop there. The incredible selection of designer shoes was impressive. It is truly a World of Shoes. The customer service is exemplary and if there is ever an issue, the management there is quick to make sure it is resolved and that the customer is happy. Neiman Marcus in Short Hills is my new home for luxury. And it's located in a great mall. The hour drive for us coming from New York was well worth it. Hands down, It beat Saks and other luxury department stores in New York. I can't say enough about the store. What a great shopping day we had.

I have made a couple of trips to this location and I can't say enough good stuff about Chris from the Tom Ford counter that was knowledgeable in many fragrance houses in the store as well as some interesting stories behind them. Also Nick at the Amouage section was also knowledgeable about other houses as well as the book of Amouage ingredients which is pretty cool in itself. I can say everyone here was friendly but these 2 gentleman went above and beyond and were actually able to tell me stuff I didn't already know which is rare and very pleasing. I enjoyed talking to them and this is the customer service experience they don't train you for but should. If Neiman Marcus reads this I highly recommend a raise for these 2 outstanding employees.

Horrible customer service, my new bag was damaged. Impossible to exchange for one that wasn't damaged. They didn't even offer to call another store. The experience was certainly not what you would expect from a luxury department store. I returned the bag and bought it at saks. I will be very hesitant to shop with neiman marcus again.
