About New Eyes For the Needy
New Eyes For the Needy is a nonprofit organization that provides new prescription eyeglasses to U.S. residents in financial need. It also distributes gently used eyeglasses to the poor in developing countries through partner aid organizations. The organization is described as offering excellent service and quality glasses, with a hassle-free process and quick responses. It operates a shop selling donated jewelry, housewares, and new sunglasses at reasonable prices, with all profits funding eyeglasses for those who cannot afford them. Every $23 puts a pair of glasses on a child in need. Currently, due to the coronavirus pandemic, New Eyes is not accepting used eyewear.

I’m a social worker in a rural VA and this organization is sometimes the only resource for someone to be able to see properly. I’m so grateful for their generosity!

Thank you so much!! Your organization has been so nice! Life isn't good right now and I have so many important things to take care of. The fact that New Eyes has made this process so hassle free and to get responses so quickly has taken a little stress out of my life.Thank you again!!!
