My partner and I visited the Purple Short Hills showroom in early December looking to replace our mattress as we've had bad luck with Temperpedic and even gave Casper a chance which was the worst idea ever. I personally wasn't a fan of even lying on a Purple mattress. My other half swears by their cushions as he works from home and loves the ultimate seat cushion so we have several lying around the house in different places. We were the first ones there and the manager was dealing with light issues but we didn't even notice. We tried every mattress with zero regard for cost as getting a full night's sleep is the only thing that mattered to us. The manager there was super patient as we were there for over an hour trying each one and figuring out which felt best to us. We were down to 2 styles and decided to check out other mattresses in the mall before making our final decision. Since we hated our Casper and had bad luck with our 2nd Temperpedic that we owned the Luxe Adapt, we went to test Kluft mattresses and nothing felt as good as Purple!I didn't know what to expect from an entire Purple mattress but I was sold! We ordered a king Restore Premier in soft. My back loves it so much. It's been almost a month now of sleep and I am "oversleeping" which is maybe my body's way of saying thank you because I haven't slept this well in so long that I forgot what good sleep felt like. I'm a stomach and back sleeper and have slept both ways without waking up with an arm or hand that's fallen asleep or my back or hip killing me. It's been pretty wonderful. We just received the low Harmony pillows and while I wasn't sure about them in the showroom at the time, they've been the best pillows this entire week we've had them. I'm hoping that this will be our mattress brand forever because it has been something wonderful.

My partner and I have been looking for a new mattress since our move and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service we received from the Short Hills team. Majority of the mattress stores we've visited have been underwhelming with product knowledge and variety but, Purple was the opposite. Every staff member we spoke to was very accommodating and thorough. We will definitely be returning customers to this location!

Pillows are amazing!! Dawn is the best and very informative. We got a bed frame and pillows and she helped us with everything. Definitely recommend to come in and shop. Staff aren't pushy at all and make the experience in store world class!

Me and my bf traveled all the way from upstate ny to come to this store. We had no one ask if we needed anything or what we was looking for. It was like immediately upon arrival we were ignored but other customers with a different skin color then us was immediately spoken to. We asked for help and someone did say give me a moment but helped others and never sent anyone our way. I had to blame it because we were black and they were white but that's exactly what it felt like. We were there 45 minutes no help. So we left. We never been to a all purple store and we were in search of a new mattress. Guess we will search somewhere where we are fairly treated.

I am a current employee here at the short hill’s location and have observed persons in management encouraging other staff members and other employees (friends) of the mall to report reviews left by past associates who’s chosen to write detailed & personal experiences on google. This place is so drama filled that it actually affects the employees in many ways. Their hate for former employees and constant harassment against them by visiting their current job is sickening. Bharat visits former employees jobs to make them uncomfortable which is so weird. The managers here both bharat and dawn are so corrupt against their employees which is why 4 of them have chosen to leave in the span of one month. Not selling enough mattresses gives them so much free time to visit former employees jobs. It is so uncomfortable being around them both and I cannot wait to find a better job so that I can be away from the toxic environment the managers creates daily.

“look at the managers panicking by having their friends and family fraudulently write reviews because two employees spoke about their experiences. Now they’re scrambling to cover up the bad reviews. That’s proof they’re terrible people. But we’re also reporting it to the Better business bureau.

I had a very unpleasant visit to Purple Mattress Showroom as I witnessed a manager named Dawn be very unkind to an employee. It was disgusting and rude behavior….and she ought to be ashamed of herself. Due to the disrespect expressed from management to an employee I decided to leave. This is not a good look for business.

As a former employee of Purple, I had an unfortunate experience at the Short Hills store. During my time at Purple, I personally experienced instances of discrimination & racially inappropriate remarks by the store manager in the showroom. Despite involving HR, no resolution was reached, resulting in premature resignations by several employees. These actions created a hostile work environment, leading to decreased morale & early resignations. It hindered our ability to work effectively & professionally, causing unnecessary stress & anxiety. Despite multiple complaints & HR involvement, the issue was not adequately addressed. HR's failure to provide a resolution & support to employees affected our confidence in their ability to ensure a fair and inclusive workplace.As a direct result of the discriminatory behavior & HR's failure to resolve the issue, several talented employees decided to resign prematurely. This turnover speaks volumes about the company's lack of commitment to fostering an inclusive & respectful work environment. I urge Purple to take immediate action in implementing comprehensive anti-discrimination training for all their employees & management (specifically the showroom manager), as well as creating a more transparent & effective reporting system for addressing workplace issues. It is crucial for Purple to prioritize inclusivity & make the necessary changes to ensure a safe & fair workplace for everyone.

I had a great experience with Purple Mattress store @ the Short Hills Mall , Milburn, Nj. The was was excellent! I met Anderson who was very professional and friendly. He showed me the mattresses and provided some features and benefits esp for my Mother who is wheelchair bound. Anderson showed his humanity before leading to his business. He let me take photos of the 3 bed showcase. He and his manager even invited me to grab some free goodies just by dropping by. I will probably recommend this store and purchase the product. Kudos to the staff esp. Anderson.

My husband and I had the absolute best experience in this showroom. We walked in only try the mattresses because of the commercials we had Sherifa give us a very in-depth presentation but decided to measure our place before pulling the trigger. Sherifa answered all of our questions and although the response time was a bit slow I understand that life gets a bit busy & it doesn’t take away from the fact that we ultimately decided to go along with purple because of how she made us feel and how confident & honest she was with us. Today our mattress got delivered and we are more than happy that we bought it.

The purple showroom staff in the short hills mall is very friendly, courteous, and professional.Sherrifa was an attentive listener to my bedding needs and was very patient answering questions and addressing concerns that I had. She was just the person that I needed to assist me in ultimately selecting the best bed that I’ve ever owned.
