I have had a TD Ameritrade account for over 7 years. Today was my first visit at the office. I met with Maurice Simpkins. He was professional yet approachable. He is well-educated in his field. He explained to me how I could benefit both from Schwab's portfolio management and TD Ameritrade's self-management. He was a wealth of knowledge. As we discussed more complex investment strategies he adjusted his language to a level in which I could understand. He answered all my questions and was very generous with his time. I'm very sorry that I had not visited the office 7 years ago. Now I consider Maurice as one of my most valuable assets. I highly recommend the office and Maurice Simpkins.

I walked in without an appointment for information regarding Municipal Bonds. Kyoo Lee enthusiastically imparted his 30 plus years of knowledge in a cordial manner. Thanks Lee.

Good service. It says Schwab on the Marquis but it doubles as a TD Ameritrade office( apparently Schwab purchased TD Ameritrade, recently)

I'm wiritng thisreview because I feel TD Ameritrade was greedy in the assessement of transfer fees. First, I've had an account with TD for years, so I opened up small custodial accounts (UTMA) for my nieces and nephews. I waited and waited for TD to allow the purhase of fractional shares but it never happened Consequently, I decided to transfer the custodial accounts to Fidelity for the fractional shares and TD charged me $75.00 per account. How greedy can you be to take $75 from young kids because you don't offer the services that they need. For anyone reading this, skip TD Ameritrade and go to another broker.
