The worst haircut of my life is an understatement. I asked for long face frame layers in the front, then snip! Layers in the back! I have poker straight long hair. It looks like I have a mullet. I asked mid cut what youare you doing?!
I'm so upset. I thought give it a few days and I'll get used to it but NO. I still tear up. My long hair is now a mess.

Hair cutter, I think she was even the boss/owner, did NOT cut my hair evenly. It's LOP-SIDED! I have to wear a hat now to flatten it out or else I can't go out in public. Worst of all, I think she did it intentionally!
EDIT 8/25/2025: Your response doesn't help, GreatClips! Do you honestly think I want to go back to where the owner/manager intentionally messed up my hair?!

I used the “Online check-in” feature on the Great Clips app, hoping to streamline my visit. When I arrived, there were two hairdressers, and two customers signed in. The person ahead of me was promptly greeted and seated, while the second hairdresser vanished into the back—only to reappear as the first haircut was wrapping up. So much for skipping the wait; on this occasion, online check-in offered no real advantage.
As for the haircut itself, while technically adequate, the technique left much to be desired. The stylist was unusually aggressive with the clippers, pressing them hard against the side of my head. I have had many haircuts over the years, but this was the first time I genuinely felt uneasy about someone wielding electric clippers.
Between the unexpected 15-minute delay and the heavy-handed approach, I am leaning toward taking my business elsewhere next time.

Lorraine, has never cut my hair before. With that being said did a GREAT job no pun intended. She was GREAT with good conversation a plus in my book.

Haircut quality hit or miss, depending on who you get. But I like checking in online and knowing the wait, and the price can't be beat.

Went to Great Clips in Shrewsbury this afternoon to have my daughter's hair cut. The woman asked us if we checked in online-we answered no. She took our name and told us to sit down. She told us it would be about 15 minutes. As we sat there, 6 people came in and had their hair done before us. When I asked the woman why we are now waiting 45 minutes, she says to me that all these people had booked online and can have their hair done before us. That is just wrong and poor customer service!!
