I can’t leave enough stars about this business! Dr. Rovere is a special human being. From day one of us switching to this vet we have been so happy. Dr. Rovere really takes her time with the animals and takes the time to explain everything. She genuinely cares and her knowledge shines through. Her staff is always so friendly and helpful. They do not overcharge or recommend unnecessary expenses. Thank you so much for your care! Clyde says thank you! ?

My dog decided, to swallow something he shouldn’t have, ended up having a stomach blockage and blockages in the intestines. Dr. Rovere and her team were very nice and compassionate and more importantly operated and saved my dogs life which I can’t thank her enough.

Wanted to love my experience here but that was not the case..I was skeptical after the first visit for shots quick and $300 but decided to use them to remove a mass that Chloe had in between her paw. Surgery went fine except Dr Rovere told me my dog turned blue during surgery and didn’t know why but she “saved her life” Chloe was sent home without a cone which I paid for when I reviewed my estimate and then next morning she woke up crying and she bite her bandage off. I panicked and drove to the vet at 8am for them to help me give both pain and antibiotic they send me home to get my medicine. Only for the vet to come in and offer liquid injection antibiotics I said how much it was $90 which I agreed because I had a hard time getting it down my 10lb dogs throat. Upon check out I get charged another $55 for another bandage and $11 for medical waste which they didn’t even dispose of anything. I felt taken advantage of after giving them $1000 in cash the day before and $276 for pre op blood work.. like come on I’m a hairstylist if my client needed a little more off her bangs a week later I wouldn’t charge them!! I called the vet shady and she got upset..she has now banned me which I really wasn’t going to go back anyway but the dog has stitches that need to be removed and she refuses to take them out. Felt they really don’t care about the clients just the money. Like I said Shady!!! Try and get a price an exact price for a procedure guarantee vet or staff can’t answer that lol!!! And then hundreds of dollars later..place sucks!! Sent home no cone but my fault she ate off her bandage..

Place just wants your money. Told me I had to come back multiple times for my animal, and each time it was hundreds of dollars.

My husband and daughter brought our dog in to be checked for fleas and the doctor was extremely rude and demeaning towards them. Instead of simply examining our dog she felt the need to continually make nasty comments and judgments. Never going back there and making sure I spread the word about our experience.

We are relatively new to this office but cannot be more pleased with the service they provide. The staff and doctors work so welltogether to provide the most pleasent experience for both the owner and pet. They are compassionate and lighthearted at every stage of the visit. It's nice to be around people that really enjoy what they do. Biggest part is you don't feel like a number with dollar signs $$$$.They are fairly priced and I don't ever feel like they are suggesting any more services then what are needed.they also have a great location and just steps from you car into the office.

This Vet killed my tortoise. He claimed to be a reptile vet. He gave a saline and vit A injection that was toxic to her and killed her. Why say you can treat an animal you know nothing about?! . An internet search shows Vit A needs oil not saline. Murderer!!! If he can do this to my much loved pet he may be doing it to others. Guess work has no place in a vet office!! I would give zero if it were possible!!

do not bring your reptiles here!! he shot my tortoise with a saline based vitamin a solution and it killed her within hours of seeing him! any internet reader would know ... wish i had looked without trusting he knew what he was doing!! if your reptile needs injectable vitamin a, ask your vet to administer an oil-based, not water-based, injection. water-based vitamin a injections have a high risk of toxicity. injections should be given only by your veterinarian. we asked...do you treat reptiles... yes he said... keep your reptiles away from here!! and perhaps think twice about having him treat any of your other animals too!!

I took my puppy to Happy Tails in the beginning of June. We were very happy with the service and doctors, as we were referred by Select A Puppy in Middletown. After his first vaccinations, I brought him back because he had a nasty cough which I KNEW sounded like Kennel Cough. The vet told me his lungs sounded fine, and then sent us home. After about a week, I still noticed he wasn’t eating and his cough and hacking had gotten even more persistent. I brought him back yet again, to be told that his lungs sounded fine and she didn’t recommend antibiotic because he was already on antibiotic for Giardia at the time. Being a new puppy parent, I agreed and took him home but was very scared because his cough sounded horrible and was occurring almost every 5 minutes.Something in my gut told me to get a second opinion, and I did. The NEXT DAY, I brought him to a different vet and at the first appointment they could tell that something was wrong. They immediately brought him in for a chest X-ray and he was diagnosed with pneumonia and put him on antibiotics. Within DAYS he sounded and was acting so much better. Within a week his cough was completely gone.I am so frustrated with this establishment as this could have turned out horribly. He was a 2.8 lb puppy with pneumonia that was being overlooked by his vet that a quick chest X-ray would have revealed. I can’t help but think that their “agreement” with Select A Puppy was a result of being dismissed the 2 times I brought him in out of concern.

Awesome, Dr's. and staff!! I'm very satisfied when I take my dogs here. The doctors are very caring, and Dottie, at the front desk, is so engaging, smart, and obviously loves animals. Any pet would be lucky to have Happy Tails, be their vet!

They will rip you off. They care more about money than my pets health. Won’t fill a script through chewy without a huge hassle cause they’d rather charge you 3 times the amount. My dog has had a infection from a tick bite for 3 years and that’s how long this Dr waited to give my dog antibiotics that would have been $1a pill at chewy but insisted to charged me $2.5 a pill. And to boot never approved the script for my dogs heart guard and nex guard so they can beat me out of another 150$ for no reason….The dr is old and needs to retire. Going somewhere else where the pet matters

Highly recommend! We love the entire team at Happy Tails. They are caring, professional, highly competent, and take very good care of our pup! Not to mention they are open seven days a week and most evenings - very unusual and so helpful/convenient.
