I’ve been to Lululemon four times every one time it was the Shrewsbury location and that will be it. The first time I received no help, the store was practically empty and even a blind person could have seen that I needed help. The next two were sub par, the salespeople did the bare minimum. The most recent was a disaster, and the problem fell solely on the “manager”. I’m not sure how someone can hold a job, let alone be a manager while using all of the brainpower they had (there wasn’t much) to perform intense mental gymnastics to justify what boils down to poor customer service and frankly just laziness. I do like their socks, for whatever that’s worth.

The store is great but unfortunately the staff can be rude. I guess they are people that need to be treated with respect. Maybe customers are not treating them with the respect they deserve

I was very impressed with the customer service. Multiple people attended to me, picked out and checked stock for my size, and placed orders online for me because they didn't have it in store. I'm

I visited the lululemon in The Grove in Shrewbury, NJ for the first time the other day, and I am sure it will be the last time I do so. Whether it's with intention or not, lulu has the position of catering to fit, confident women, of which I'm not, and the interaction I had as a first timer will have me back with the friendly Old Navy staff 10-times over instead.Surprisingly, I find it rare to be so off-put by service and retail employees and having a history of being one myself, I am mindful to try to find what I need before I ask a question. I went to the store because my friend, a Lulu manager at a store across the country, sent me a gift of my first ever Align leggings. Unfortunately, they were too short, so she told me to go to a local store to swap them out. Easy enough, right? I went in, searched for my size and didn't see them, so I found the one of four women working that would make eye contact with me. I asked her for help and she was kind enough and prompt in understanding my need. She told me because it was considered an employee exchange (all of my friends information was on the print out that came with the original package), she needed to get her manager. The manager, whose name I didn't get because to simply ask her a question seemed like it would've ruined her day, was working on Monday, May 16 just around 6p. She was quite literally huffing and puffing through her frustration that I simply could not exchange these leggings and that it was basically tough luck that my friend sent them to me and spent her money on it - and as we know, a discount on Align leggings is still a pretty penny. Her dismissiveness was astounding - I stood there, computing what was happening because I didn't understand why there wouldn't be an alternative to ship me another pair-I had also told the original associate I was going to have her run another transaction to add a second pair of leggings at full price, of course, because I liked them so much. The manager, who was so shrill looking down but of course not at me, was furiously scribbling down information on a post it, and I asked "I'm sorry, are you taking down my friends information? She works for this company, I don't want to get anyone in trouble." And she smugly said she had to report it and every employee knows protocol during their orientation. For the record, the discount my friend used was a company wide authorized initiative for Mother's day offered to ALL employees, including the employees of this store, NOT her personal employee discount.I left, not empty handed, but with leggings that are too short (anyone want them...?) but fully confident that they won't see me over there again. The lack of respect for me as someone who's newly acclimating to your brand. The lack of respect for my friend, your essential teammate, for liking her company's product so much to send a gift for a milestone in my life. This may not get to Lulu corporate, but just advising you if you plan on visiting this location - know your size, get what you need to exchange, don't go to crazy with the pleasantries because you won't be getting them back and certainly don't go in there if you're not feeling confident - because shopping for clothes to wear for comfort and for athletics is personal to some.I'm good in my Old Navy 3-pack over here. Thanks, Lulu at The Grove and manager on duty. Hope you felt good closing your till that night!

Lululemon is an amazing brand. It has the cutest dance clothes and also the best and most comfortable pants. The workers are so nice and always there if you need help. 10/10 recommended!

The staff here was super helpful! As soon as I walked up to the counter he assisted me with an exchange for a pair of leggings. I figured it would be a long shot to exchange these leggings but the employee seamlessly saved the day. My experience couldn’t have been more pleasant. Thank you!

I hate writing negative reviews but it's extremely frustrating when no one answers the phone here ever! I placed a pickup order and got an email that it was picked up when I never picked it up. I tried calling multiple times and no one seems to answer.

The staff at lululemon @ the grove are so rude . I had to exchange a shirt & the tag was missing. I ordered it online & did not realize that the tag was off I explained that to the sales person and she treated me like I did something wrong . Asked to speak to manger and was told she was at lunch. I order online because this is not the first time ,I have had difficulty with the Grove salespeople.

writing this because this is the reason why i shop online and not in stores but sometimes i do occasionally go in the lululemon in the grove to see if they have what i want before ordering it online so i can buy right there. the blonde girl not even in lululemon attire as an associate but in leggings maybe? wearing a lilac cropped adidas sweatshirt folding clothes on the back table by the leggings needs to be retrained on her manners and customer service approach skills. this is coming from a manager of a luxury clothing boutique. if one of our employees serviced a customer like this she would be warned or fired immediately. anyways, i seemed to bother her simply asking what size a pair of leggings were on a mannequin and if i could buy them. she looked shocked that i even asked that. no smile or can i help you with anything when she saw me by the leggings for 5 minutes. not that i needed help at the moment but in retail that's what you're trained to do to make the customer feel comfortable. didn't even check the size and said no with an attitude. not even we can check online and order it for you like all the other lululemon employees do there to push a sale and help the customer find the product their looking for. i walked out and ordered what i needed to order online because i don't even want to give that store the business. besides this new girl, i have always found everyone else in the store super helpful and sweet you guys are always great!!

Very rude staff. Im a fitness instructor and was buying myself work pants (I wear gender neutral pants to my full time office job) and the cashier was nasty about me buying the “mens” pants. So much for gender inclusivity.I go to buy the pants in my custom size so they can be shipped.. the cashier orders me 2 in the wrong size when I asked for 1. Clearly did this on purpose as they were upset and thought the pants weren't for me.Unprofessional way to handle the situation. This staff needs a diversity, equity and inclusion training.

Absolutely terrible. My husband got me a long sleeve shirt for Christmas last year I wore it a few times and a huge hole. I took it there to get fixed and was going to buy at least 5 long sleeve shirts for winter and all of my husbands Christmas gifts. She told me there is nothing to do about it. It’s an expensive shirt to wear a few times.I will no longer be buying anything from them and only buying Patagonia. Save your money and time and don’t go there or buy their products.
