To be honest there isn't a good ski shop in Monmouth county, but this is bottom tier. I got fitted for ski boots and they were the most uncomfortable boots I've ever worn. A few years later in Colorado I got refitted for boots at a SIZE AND A HALF smaller, a mistake that cost me 500 dollars to fix. Not only that but a week to wax a pair of skis? And the price. I recommend waiting to shop until you reach your ski destination.

Great team, very helpful and knowledgeable! I went there to get skies and always come back to get them tune for the season. The rental sector is efficient and the prices are great, especially for kids learning and growing fast. Highly recommended.

Great experience, I will definitely be back. They took their time going through different boots and insoles to get the perfect fitment for me. They even made the newer outsoles work with my older bindings.

I purchased a few hundred dollars of clothing this past Sunday, but it ended up that we don't need what I bought. The store then refused to accept my return 3 days later & lied about making me aware that they do not accept returns (even if unused with the tags still on). The manager then laughed and walked away.At this point, I left the clothes on the counter, walked out & disputed the charge with my credit card company. These are clearly unethical people. Shop here at your own risk.

I was looking this past Saturday for skies for my husband. He is a snowboarder and he wanted to look for skies. I told the man (40s w/ dk brown hair) that we didn't want to spend a lot. He made a nasty remark and told me I need to go shopping. He was arrogant to say the least. I went to Brave New World and was treated like always great! Not only was their customer service a 10 their prices we're better. I have been going to them over 18 years and now I remember why. We ending up bringing our skis back the same day. Who wants to give a guy like that business

Great service by Tom, who got me set up with a new set of great fitting boots, refunding me completely for boots I got 2+ years ago (that were too small). Such a nice shop with a lot of options of skis and apparel, highly recommend.

I give 1 star for an excellent selection of stuff in general and 1 star for the really nice older gentleman who helped me with my new boots. The young ladies working there are rude. The ski shop hippie with nail polish is rude. The prices are too high. The service is too slow.

Snowboard still has a lot of scratches even though Ski Barn told me these would be filled.I called Ski Barn prior to visiting to get an idea of options and prices for fixing the scratches on my snowboard. I was told that it depended on how bad the scratches were but the services would range from $25 to $70The next day I visited Ski Barn and was told the scratches would need P-Tex and would be $75 to fill. It was annoying that it was more than I was told, but I was fine with this since I know I snowboarded on an area that was rocky last season.I picked my snowboard up a couple weeks later. It still had many unfilled scratches. It was not worth their recommended service for the employees to not fill in the scratches. Would not recommend going to this Ski Barn.

If you want to buy a specific size of snowboard/ski boot do not go here. They will "fit" you and tell you you should have a boot size 3 sizes smaller than what you want or feel comfortable in. They did not like selling me boots bigger than what the metal shoe fitter said even though my feet felt like they were about to explode. Walked out unsatisfied after being told to order the boots online instead of them handing me the boots in person.
