Daniel Tavares Academy is a real BJJ academy where belts are earned on skill and accomplishment. It is a fantastic, welcoming place to learn self-defense and get into shape, with students and instructors who make everyone feel welcome and part of the family. The professor is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated, offering tremendous attention and helpfulness. The academy runs many classes, accommodating even hectic schedules. Students regularly compete at local, national, and international tournaments, and the wall of championship medals and trophies speaks to the academy’s legitimacy and high level of jiu-jitsu. It is a professional environment of respect without any "head hunting," where the focus is on teamwork. For anyone thinking of trying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, this is a great place to start and is highly recommended.

Daniel Tavares is a great Jiu Jitsu academy. Daniel is a great professor to learn from. The community is also very good. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this Jiu Jitsu academy.
