“We had to leave our family’s New Years’s Eve party to get a few forgotten items. Dollar General became our rescuer. We found the few items we needed and more. But the biggest “take away” was how kind, entertaining, and personal the cashier was. She was very patient to help us find what we needed and also suggested a few additional items. She was great! Today we’ve met a few of the nicest cashiers anywhere in New Jersey.”

“By far the cleanest, well stocked and organized Dollar General in my area. There are multiple DG in a 15 minute drive, along with more passed during different commutes. This is the best DG in every category, period. The employees are friendly, actually smile, greet you and chat nicely. Other stores i'm worried if I say 'hi how are you' I might upset them or be asking something too much for their comprehension. DG, Berlin period. 5 stars.”

“This is a good store to buy birthday balloons, photo frame or any other gift wrap of cling papers. Sometimes, you get some stuff which you would not get in big stores such as small kitchen aids and related things. Nice shoppeeeee!!!!”

“This store is very understaffed, and the company does this, not management and the associates. They are forced to work extra hard and additionally deal with frustrated customers day in and out. This store has the potential to have alot of traffic Only if the company would staff them better. I went into this store today. I had a frustrating experience. I didn't mean to have my mood change so quick, but it's been that type of day. I must say Barbara and the young man, I didn't catch his name tag he works there often, are amazing and super stars. They really endure alot from this company and us as shoppers. Somehow, they still manage to go out their way and please the customers and calm them down. I felt so terrible. As a person from our society and working industries... they truly did not deserve my mood, cooperate did if anyone. Thank you both for being so sweet, so kind, and spreading good energy. “Not the biggest Dollar Tree in the area, but still a respectable store. Since the revamp, they carry better quality items, and more of them. Its an excellent Holiday and Party supply store. Very decent food, and Arts & Craft sections as well.”

“Great customer service, opened a second line for customer #3. This never happens in other locations until the line is 6-8 people deep. They were missing a few things I needed, but I can't fault them for that. Store was clean and neat, with a good crew”

“There really really good items for a dollar. There are items over $1. Be careful some items are flimsy so be careful. There are some brand name items definitely stock up when you find them. Customer service is good. I've been there several times and was greeted upon entry and thanked when done shopping. Returns were no problem. Good finds are bath bombs, journals, nail supplies, and stationary to name a few. There is food, housewares, bath supplies, toys, and a host of other items.”
“This is my favorite Dollar general because Todd is absolutely amazing!!! He is so kind and he's always working so hard. He doesn't allow me to carry the big case of water to the counter he runs and grabs me a cart. He's always smiling and working hard and I feel like he deserved five stars today. “Honestly one of the most organized dollar tree’s I’ve ever stepped into in south jersey. The employees engage in conversation with no problem and have entertained that “inner shopping voice” of mine many times. A couple employees are actually the reason why I do come at certain times. One employee, Lori is always cheerful and leaves me walking out the door with laughter and she knows the store like the back of her hand. Jamie is a quick manager who has responded when called to assist employees with customers. Also Ruemella is another employee who has been really patient with me at the cashier many times when I’m ready to check out and forget items and have to go back for. Compared to Runnemede and Blackwood, this store is top tier with their cleanliness. Excellent job hands down to all who pull their weight to operate this store.”

“Great staff though they seem to get fired for very silly reasons. Constantly cycling through new staff.Corperate needs to calm down & stop letting good employees go over miserable customers complaining about bs. I was reading another comment that stated the reviewer “ventured out in the middle of a blizzard “ 7 months ago. We haven’t had a blizzard here in years so I’m not sure if they’re referencing the correct location.”

“Caleb, the manager, is the absolute best. I always look for him when I walk in, because I know it's going to be a hassle free trip. I try to buy clearance as much as possible. Unfortunately, products don't always ring up the clearance or sale price. Caleb doesn't give me an attitude or gets inpatient when I ask for him to correct the price. He is always super helpful and respectful.”
