About SAVE - A Friend to Homeless Animals
SAVE - A Friend to Homeless Animals is a premier animal welfare organization and adoption center in the region. The shelter has the capacity to house up to 100 animals at a time, with approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs. The number of adoptions is growing every year, as the shelter is committed to strengthening the human-animal bond and finding good homes for many deserving pets.
The shelter is praised for its clean and well-maintained facilities, as well as the excellent care and love the animals receive from the dedicated staff. Adopters have shared positive experiences with the smooth adoption process, friendly staff, and the healthy, well-socialized pets they have welcomed into their homes.
While the shelter does not receive any local, state, or federal funding, it relies on the community's support to continue providing high-quality services. SAVE is known as a model animal welfare organization, providing a safe and nurturing environment for the rescued animals until they find their forever homes.
