The pharmacist (and all of his team) working at CVS in Smithville at closing on Sunday, June, 22, 2025, went above and beyond the call to help me with a prescription problem. I had already been to another CVS that was out of my prescription and they referred me to Smithville. Urgent care had recommended a prescription that was >$600!! The Smithville pharmacist pointed that out and offered to talk to the prescriber, even though it was 15 minutes before closing and they were busy helping several other people with problematic prescriptions. I called the prescriber and they spoke to the pharmacist and came up with another cheaper solution for the same medicine (!!). Unfortunately, the prescriber didn't send the update in time, so I had to come back the next day to pick up the prescription, but the CVS pharmacist waited until the very last minute for it to come through so he could help me. They were all amazing! This really went above and beyond! (And did I mention they were also helping a man on vacation with his prescription and another man whose prescription had been messed up at another pharmacy. These guys are super heroes!)

Just be aware with this store I am a extra care rewards member and they let another person use my account and spend my monthly awards money of ten dollars without me being there or without my knowledge of this.Only got one star because had to give that to post.

Pulled in at 9:58 just now to try to walk in the store and the young gentleman(tall dark hair) had closed the store early. Not ok.

A script my doctor has taken an 1 entire week to fill and a script order yesterday was not ready for pickup at 1:00pm. Was unable to get back in an as directed in an hour but went tonight @ 7:30 only to see a sign saying “sorry drive through closed tonight.” This is far from the first time that scripts have taken a ridiculous amount time or something else went wrong. . Waited a 1/2 on hold to be told by the one pharmacist he is 6 days behind with only 1 cashier. This company should be fined and put out of business.

Honestly i didnt even want to give 1 star the man that works there refused to fill my daughters script a she is. Going through MAT i understand that he does have that right but not everyone on this medicine is a junkie so yea i dont suggest anyone going through this go to this place

This stuff here is something else. It’s so annoying about their lies at times. I called and asked if the ends were sent over. They lied and said they weren’t sent over yet. Bi check the app and sure enough it was in process in the app. I try calling them back and guess what they are closed.This isn’t the first time they did this. They are so lazy and don’t want to work.
