Trashy service.
I ordered online and it asked if there's a person to pick up the item on the website. Apparently, everyone was clueless to this fact and basically berated me while I tried to explain. Even saying something as stupid as, they have no idea what their site says.
They were very rude. The white guy with the black hair was down right ignorant and very sloppily dressed.

Yesterday I ordered a PS5 console online..for store pick-up. However, there was an issue with my online order, which was stopping me from being able to receive my new console. I called into customer service (after talking to a friendly and helpful employee from the store), and nothing was really resolved. Well so I thought. I’m not sure how the manager at this location found out I didn’t get my problem fixed, and when I called back they said they would work with me, they helped me with my issue, and now I have my console. Honestly I was ready to cancel my order and never return to any GameStop again..but if corporate reads these at all..you’re Somerdale GameStop employees are tops blooby!! They honestly made my entire day if not my whole week honestly. This is now my GameStop of choice I’ll return just for the staff that’s there!

Was my GameStop I usually go to always had positive experiences here for a while, until recently.
I had an issue with more or less all of the associates their not notifying me on my pre-order was in and causing my order to be sold by online means. This was after me waiting over a month for it.
I called everyday and every time I called they kept saying the order was in Transit, which was a lie. I made a complaint to GameStop online and the district manager continues to ignore my complaint as per the support team.
This causes this location to be a place of poor business practices and unhealthy customer service. Which is a shame because this was a very friendly and welcoming place until recently.
I ended up just buying the item on eBay where I got better customer service, think about that

I love the staff at this location. Can't speak highly enough about their depth of knowledge, their manners, their upbeat personalities, and their willingness to help with every one of your requests. When i go on behalf of my kids, i enter with minimal experience and without a clue for what I'm looking for exactly, and i always leave with what the kids wanted. They even share "secrets": not so common knowledge that benefits the consumer that could easily be gatekept from us. Five stars, even if supply is once in a blue moon low. (But remember: demand is always high!)

Sold me a used broken ps5 controller for $80 last night, can’t even get it swapped out til Sunday. Be careful buying “refurbished” from here, they don’t even bother to test it, they just wipe it down and make it look clean.

Employees seem dismissive and disinterested with customers. Lack of communication of membership benefits. Not a very welcoming environment. Go to Walmart and save $10

Went in looking for a game for my son for Christmas. The place has changed a little. You use to get greeted almost as soon as you walked in the store not really any more. It was to crowded so I left. It was a ok experience but I had better.

Went here on a Sunday, time on window states store opens at 10am, online stated 11am, time I arrived was 12:30pm, door was locked, staff associate was walking around in store but wouldn’t unlock door. More people came and pulled on door, checked their watches and phones for time and watched as staff associate walked around. The line grew to 5 people outside and finally around 12:55pm the staff member came to open the door.
