Tom and Carol Harris represent the many hard working small family-owned business at the Jersey Shore and hands down they are the best at what they do. Tom is truly gifted as a jeweler creating beautiful hand-made original pieces at his customers' requests. Carol knows her stuff and provides the best customer service and individual attention to each and every customer. I have purchased many pieces from them--rings, necklaces, bracelets and have never not been satisfied. In fact, I have referred friends and family to them and they too have purchased jewelry from Tom Harris--again, all satisfied customers. It's sad to see a few unhappy customers write such mean-spirited reviews when I know these two people are hard working and care about each and every customer being happy with their purchases. I've been in their shop to say hello and have seen firsthand how they greet others who come by and shop; it's a genuine welcoming atmosphere. I recently bought a pair of earrings and I've worn them every day since and have received numerous compliments. I can't imagine the last review about poor quality when I've never had an issue with any of the jewelry I've purchased from Tom Harris. “Always a great shopping experience. The t-shirts and hoodies are the best quality of any place on the boardwalk. I really appreciate the custom work. I had shirts made with a business logo. My son gets all sorts of designs on hats and shirts. At Jilly’s, they spend a lot of time helping to create what we want. As for Jilly’s other businesses, the refillable lemonade cups are worth purchasing. The sugar boost and liquid are needed on hot days. They will also fill with other drinks but to me, the boardwalk is a place for lemonade.”

“Summer is coming which makes me think about Ocean City, the boardwalk, Mack & Manco pizza, and some of the cute boutiques off the boardwalk. My favorite stores in Ocean City are Heritage Surf Shop, The Islander (boardwalk) and Pappagallo. Pappagallo carries a nice selection of resort/casual wear and it's one of the few stores my mom and I can shop in together and both walk out with something we like. I personally like the selection because I like trendy things, but if it's not comfortable, I am NOT wearing it, and it seems like many of the items in the store are on trend but also comfy (like the other reviewer mentioned, they carry Ella Moss - which is one of my favorite brands that I can't really find locally). I've also purchased some cute fashion jewelry from there. It's a nice store, decorated cute and the pretty blond that helped us last time was really sweet - she didn't bug us, let us shop and do our thing - I hate it when they breathe down your neck!!! So, yep, when my mom and I go to O.C., we have a little ritual, we stop in Pappagallo and then we either go to Mack & Manco or walk past Wards and get something from the bakery!”

“The young ladies did excellent while the computers took over 30 minutes to work properly in order to process the sales transaction. I’m a Banter card holder for the last three years every time I stop in the employee experience is wonderful but your registers are out dated. The employees spend more time apologizing for the system than the actual time it takes to pick an item. I spent almost an hr while waiting for the system to work and systems been rebooted. Hamilton Mall Mays Landing NJ. I’m still currently here while writing this review.”
