I had my car towed here and they checked it and fixed it in no time. Very professional, honest, fair, thorough, and informative. I must say, I’ve been facing some challenging times lately, they were graciously willing to work with me on the bill and extended their kindness and forgave a good portion! What a breath of fresh air to get the assistance and treatment that I did! I am so grateful! I recommend K&B auto to anyone looking for honest and reliable auto service. After speaking to the owner after we acquired a VW bus I felt confident I had a local mechanic. Once I needed the transmission to be looked at it was a different story. Actually told me was to complicated and my vehicle was taking up space and tow it out as soon as possible.
My assumption is this business is now handed to the next generation that does not have the experience and customer skills as the founder. Actually extremely rude.

My unfortunate encounter with K & B Auto began a year ago when I eagerly purchased what I believed to be my ideal car, a red 2014 loaded VW Jetta SE, for $10,000. However, this supposed dream quickly turned into a year-long nightmare filled with deceit and disappointment.
Exactly a year after purchasing the car, it was involved in an accident caused by another driver cutting me off. Despite the distress of losing my vehicle, I chose to hand it over to K & B Auto under the assumption that they would salvage it for parts, given its irreparable condition. Little did I know, this decision would reveal the dealership's true colors.
To my shock and dismay, I stumbled upon my supposedly "totaled" car proudly displayed for sale, sporting a misleading 2013 label instead of its accurate 2014 model year for $8,900. This discovery shattered any remaining trust I had in the integrity of K & B Auto.
Confronting the dealership only led to further frustration, as an employee, later revealed to be grappling with alcoholism, provided evasive responses. It wasn't until I engaged with the owner that the full extent of their deception became apparent. Not only did they attempt to extort an additional $6,000 from me for repairs that were clearly inflated, but they also exhibited shockingly unprofessional behavior, including inappropriate remarks “what do you think I do? Beat my meat all day?” and aggressive conduct of the owner going in my face pointing his finger which he quickly regretted.
The owner's dismissive attitude, exemplified by his callous remark, "we deal with people like you all the time," hints at a disturbing pattern of exploitation practiced by K & B Auto. Despite law enforcement intervention, the resolution offered was far from satisfactory, underscoring their disregard for customer satisfaction.
Upon inspecting my car following the so-called "repairs," I was appalled to find evidence of shoddy workmanship, including a subpar paint job and a missing air filter, a critical component for engine health. This deliberate negligence of essential parts serves as a stark reminder of K & B Auto's willingness to prioritize profit over safety.
In conclusion, my year-long ordeal with K & B Auto has been a harrowing experience marked by deception, disappointment, and a complete lack of integrity. Their unscrupulous practices and disdain for customer well-being make them a dealership to steer clear of at all costs.

I have been a loyal customer of K&B for the past 4 years. Their service is phenomenal. Their mechanics are exemplar. They have been kind, courteous and professional each time I took my vehicle to them.I highly recommend them to anyone who prefers small, local, honest businesses.I was raked by the dealerships for far too long. Bobby, Justin, Keith, AJ and Betsey are the best! They go above and beyond the call of duty, even returning my car to me in my times of need.

A great business for auto repair. I called with a problem and they were able to get me in the same day. They took only an hour to fix it and at a very reasonable price. Very personable, friendly people. Will be bringing my car here for any future problems.

My engine was stolen by owner Robert J Marx Sr. He said my engine was going bad. I think he messed with my engine light. My Jetta was running great. I am sueing him for theft I called the cops. He states he put in another engine and charged me $5,000.00 for a used engine I never saw. He never show American auto with car Shield ok d the tear down of my engine . So my contract was over unless I found another mechanic. I need witnesses to the lying stealing people in that shop. They lie and steal. Please help me . Shirley'. My phone number is 609 470 7151. This family has done this for years to different . I want to take them to court. He's been wanting my car for years. The law with mechanics are wrong how the legalling steal parts and don't go to jail. I need all the people he has done this to. I work on the highway a toll taker. and I need my car but he kept it since Jan 12 2023. I need a lawyer none won't take my case. So I hear he sold his shop to Wawa on shore road in Somers point across from dairy queen. Yelp has great reviews about K& B Bob J Marx stealing and everyone's son and all know it. Check them out. I am a 64 year old women and a customer of them for 3 years. Told me to sign up with. Car shield and American auto. I have so many documents to back up my claim. I want to sue him in civil court and I want other people who they hurt to join me. Why would I want my car back the racist statement the one review lady said he said. I lovedmy car never no problem just oil changes when they have been ripping my car apart since I started bringing it. Charged me $700.00 for a fuel pump. I did not see anything wrong with my car . I had it towed to K& B with out my battery he could put one in. I just wanted a record of him getting my car. I was getting a bad feeling. I never thought he would steal my car. The police department tried to help me. A few cops told me plenty of people had reported Bob. He should be locked up what he has done to me. If he did not want to do the tear down so I had two more mechanics who would have done it. The adjuster said he did not communicate with them . Bob is in his seventies he knows the rules of the warranty companies unless their is proof of what is wrong with the car they won't pay Iit. I never signed or agreed to a nother engine mine was just fine . He told me he was going to find another engine . I thought he was loosing his mine nothing was wrong with mine. He never showed me my engine broke parts or a new engine. from him I did not want. So he says I owe him $5,000.00 and storage up to $7000.00 . He is a crook. . I thought we were friends I was going to him for 2 and a half years .I have receipts from him. Thinking back he's been telling me if I need a lot of oil my engine will need to be replaced. I need some mechanics to help me win my case in court . Thank you Yelp and the truthful people who wrote up reviews about their nightmare experiences with the Marx's.
