We've been customers of MarineMax Somers Point for over 20 years. This is the third boat (John Olson - we miss him!) we've purchased. Early on the service was ok. Today, service is extraordinary - so much so that I felt compelled to write. Service has taken great care to make sure our 250SLX operates like new and takes great pains to ensure that any issues (including minor issues) are resolved promptly. I've run my boat over to MarineMax for a couple issues in the last 6 months; a tech has met me at the dock, resolved the issue and I'm back on the water with my family in no time. Although I've been happy with all members of the service team, Charlie deserves specific mention. He responds quickly to emails or calls with great advice and action - things get done right. I am very happy with Charlie and the entire service team at MarineMax.

Marine Max Somers Point. They are there when you need them. When your boat breaks or you need any kind of service their service department is THE BEST. Last week Saturday, it's cold and rainy, My boat was in dry dock for the winter and a prospective buyer called for a sea trial. Ugg! These guys were in the process of closing that day for the holiday. They hauled the boat from Mays Landing, got it ready, took the guy for a sea trial, hauled it, made a couple repairs. When you need them they are there. Thank you Carl and Charlie, and the entire Marine Max Service team.

Had the strangest phone call today with what I hope was the owner, otherwise they need to change out the person that answers for service. I was told they are not interested in getting new customers and only want to service existing customers. So if you aren't already a customer of their's don't bother trying to be. Was a very strange blunt/rude conversation which left me astounded.

Service that goes above and beyond! The team at Somers Point made us feel comfortable with the boat purchase and spent extra time with us showing us the ropes when we picked it up to make sure we were 100% ready.

We recently purchased a 27 SDX Sea Ray from Marine Max. Our experience from the beginning of the sales process (Bill Hoerr) through, delivery has been exceptional! We received great advice during the sales process, the delivery was professional and our Captain (Pinto) who showed us the ropes during delivery was exceptional. The post sales team including parts are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We came very close to purchasing another brand with another dealer.....we chose Sea Ray based on prior experience with the brand but in great part because of the professionalism of Marine Max, we made the right choice!

If your in the market for a boat, MarineMax in Somers Point, NJ is the ONLY place to go! My husband and I were looking for a boat last year and our salesman Chip Weidemann spent days and weeks helping us. We never felt pressured and he never made us feel like we were wasting his time. We left without buying a boat because we couldn’t find the right boat and the timing for us was not right. We went back to Chip this April, found the right boat for a great price and bought our perfect boat. Everyone at Marine Max was professional, accommodating, helpful and patient. Thanks to Chip, Mike, Greg, & Captain Mike. These guys are an anomaly and I highly recommend MarineMax.

Unquestionably the best marina to buy a boat and the best customer service after the sale in South Jersey. We bought a 21 scout dorado. They got the boat to us in record time and at a sale price lower than used boats. But the service afterwards has been incredible. They had a captain teach us how to dock and maneuver the boat and he came out to our house weeks later. And we are able to call on him in the future for more lessons. In addition, they installed extra dock accessories and boat items weeks later. But there is more...all of the extra things they do for the customer after the sale...are free !!! How's that for customer service. Unheard of in this day and age.
