“My daughter started going to The Learning Experience – Somerset last Fall. After visiting a few places, TLE stood out for several reasons. The first being that the center itself is clean, colorful, and small enough where a young child or their caregiver wouldn’t feel overwhelmed locating a classroom. The décor is bright and engaging, and they have fun and interactive play spaces indoors and outdoors. Not only is it cozy, but the center also feels safe. Whenever I drop off my daughter, there is always someone in the lobby to monitor who enters and exits the building, and the technology they use to give access to the building is secure and reliable.

In regard to the staff, everyone at TLE is friendly and cares about the children. In particular, the director, Ms. Barbara, has been AMAZING to me and my daughter. She is always ready to greet us with a smile and a listening ear. In the first few months, when my daughter (or myself) started to feel any separation anxiety, Ms. Barbara showed us empathy and understanding. Her reassuring tone, her confidence in the staff, and her experience working with children put me at ease whenever I started to worry. In addition to her compassionate nature, Ms. Barbara makes the children’s health and well-being her priority by adhering to TLE policy. If she needs to address concerns with caregivers regarding policy, she does so with kindness and respect. She is also great at correspondence and keeping in touch with caregivers through texts and face-to-face interactions.

Lastly, I’d be remiss if I didn’t give a special shout-out to Ms. Rashonda and Ms. Monique (and Ms. Akeelah!) for going above and beyond to help my daughter feel safe and comfortable at TLE. Ms. Rashonda and Ms. Monique take care of my daughter like she is family, and when I pick her up, she is calm, clean, and content. They have learned my daughter’s likes and dislikes and have been so accepting of her. I am thankful for their willingness to make adjustments in the classroom to fit her needs and for their detailed and good-humored reports of her day at pick-up. It truly is because of their patience, their flexibility, their experience working in childcare, and their consistency with the daily routine that my daughter is doing so well and becoming more confident. It feels wonderful to find people who celebrate your child’s successes with you, and I am happy that we chose to enroll her at TLE – Somerset. Highly recommend them for your childcare needs!”

“We enrolled our twins at KinderCare when they were 6 months old, and they have now been attending for the past 5 months. Overall, our experience has been very positive. It was a big adjustment at first trusting someone else with two infants, but the staff made us feel comfortable from the beginning and the transition was very smooth!

The teachers have been caring, patient, and attentive to both of our babies’ individual needs and routines. They keep us updated on feedings, naps, diaper changes, and milestones, which gives us peace of mind throughout the day!

We’ve also noticed so much growth in our twins since starting. Their social skills, curiosity, and comfort around others have really developed. They are always happy when we drop them off and pick them up, which says a lot as parents.

“Someone posted about not fair racial enrollment. My granddaughter is black and the staff seems to treat her fine. They do have a strict curriculum. They also offer an online app for the parents. You can see all communication on the app as well as pictures. I have never picked up my kid dirty. I feel that they stay on top of her diaper changes. I also like that they have a tight security.”
