Staff refuse to help.they really need to change the service at this location. Thank god I’m no longer a Bank of America customer, thanks to the nastiness of the staff at this branch.

Worst notary public service I ever saw. Instead of notarizing my signature notary public tries to get into the content of the document. When the notary does not like or do not understand the content, he rejects notarizing. Have to go to the different bank. Thinking of closing the account.

Whatever incentive programs this bank has for their employees to upsell customers -- stop! The aggressive upsell is obnoxious and intrusive. And please instruct your tellers on professional behavior -- speak quietly and respect the customers privacy, for Pete's sake, and keep your complaints and personal conversations for times when you are not helping a customer. I will NEVER come back to this branch and will think twice before visiting another one.

Worse bank ever, they need new people. Couldn’t even close my account, they don’t want to return my money.

I wish there were 0 stars. This place really disappointed me Arcelis the Vice President of this BOA location didn't fail to disappoint. I came to this location to get 1 piece of paper notarized. She looked at the paper, read it, stated it was good, we just need to make sure the paper was filled out. She had a messenger come back and forth telling us what she wanted us to do before she can think about notarizing it. We then filled out the paper in a rush as if the world was ending and then I handed it back to the messenger (or, the person walking the whole floor?) Not sure what her title was. After 30-45 minutes of waiting she ended up not notarizing the paper....... All I asked for was inform us of what you needed (in this case, the person that needed to sign with me did not bank with BOA), out of courtesy, when she looked at the paper Arcelis could've AT LEAST ask us "Does, your mom (the person who needed to sign the paper) bank with us?" Instead, her snobby-ness took over and didn't even want to speak with us. Hence, why she was sending the messenger back and forth...... Arcelis, once again, if you had the time and energy to speak with your messenger why couldn't you take the 3 second out of your day to speak with US.TERRIBLE..... Makes me want to close all of my account and bank somewhere else. I've been with BOA for 7 years and it's disappointing a vice president can act like this towards their customers.. Wow, you move up in rank and act like you don't care anymore? Terrible.

I wanted to gift my brother a check that is payable to me and I endorsed it to him. He has a Savings account with BOA. He tried to deposit the check at his local branch and was told to return with me present. I live further from him, so Somerville was my local branch. The teller was asking irrelevant questions such as why my brother did not have a checking account with BOA, why I did not open a checking account with BOA and what banks I bank with. She took my license and the check to the back, returned and told us our only options was for me to deposit the check in my account or go to the bank the check was from (Wells Fargo). I asked why if I endorsed the check properly and I was present. She responded that she could not deposit the check unless it was no more then $50. We left and went around the block to Chase were my brother banks as well, and they did not ask any of the above questions or for my ID. They pulled up his bank account and deposited the check. All of this was unnecessary and uncomfortable. I have endorsed checks before and I worked as a teller in the past. I know we were not asking anything out of the ordinary or suspicious. THIS IS THE REASON WHY I DO NOT HAVE A CHECKING ACCOUNT WITH BOA, as the teller insisted on knowing why.

Aretha was very rude. I did not have a good experience at this bank. Hopefully the other employees are kinder and at least act like the want to help the customer.

The facility here is always clean with hand sanitizers everywhere. Lines move pretty quick and everyone has a positive attitude asking how can they help and was everything okay. Great location!

Anytime I go there, I have to wait for minimum 20 to 25 mins to just get to a simple transaction such as cash withdraw. Very poor customer service.

Visited this place twice with my mother. Absolutely mobbed both instances. Tellers overwhelmed and other Bank representatives also stretched way too thin. Despite having an appointment, still had long wait times.Upon speaking to representatives regarding transferring funds out of dearly departed step-fathers account, it is blatantly obvious that this institution is working on completely different wave lengths. Estate Services apparently is a separate group, yet they want you to work through representatives on site. Representatives on site have absolutely no idea what they're supposed to be doing. This has been ongoing for almost two months and is no closer to resolution as the day it began. My mother is wife, executor has all legal documents on hand...There is absolutely nothing complex here, other than dealing with an inept organization. Through this process, both the surrogates office and the revenue department mentioned that they are aware of the difficulties everyone has in working with BoA on estate.Once (and if) this is ever finalized, I will be immediately removing all funds from this Bank and moving to TD.Avoid at all costs.

Always a wait for tellers, and at least 4 others in the office area hanging around doing nothing.
