“I used to live near this mall growing up. It had a lot to offer and it was all within walking distance.
JJDA is within this mall, and the owner went out of her way to make my sister and her bestie Olivia Windos feel right at home. Granted I never met JJ in person, but she sounds like a good person.
I know this mall previously had A&P, which was okay in a pinch, but it was dated and rundown compared to Stop & Shop and Wegmans. My mom was among one of the last people to be at that store before it closed down in 2015.
I know the ice cream parlor Carvel because Janet Robinson used to work there when she was in high school (I knew Janet growing up because she and I lived in Metuchen and went to the same school, plus she and I were the same age). If Janet ever sees this review, I want her to know that I'm not dead and that I've been living my life.”

“There's a new store named dealz. They purchase Amazon pallets so everything in there is sold up to 90% off retail value. If you go in through Dave & Buster's the store would be directly across from their acceptance on the bottom floor so you have to go down the escalator and then back over. We also went to Applebee's in the mall which has the same prices as any other Applebee's two for 25 meals which includes an appetizer. I usually go with my father we both get the oriental chicken salads and then my son likes the boneless chicken and we just add fries to it and make that his Meal instead of having the appetizer. 33.00 with tax and tip for everyone to eat and my son is 8 years old”

“There are various establishments within this shopping center that once was an airstrip many years ago, the DMV is in here, H & R block , De Rosa tax prep, a bowling alley, several places to get food, some stores, offices and a church on the weekends and I am sure I am missing a few other things in there.”
“We went to Red Lobster for my dad's 81st Birthday in the Plaza. Service was beyond amazing! Our waitress Zailyn was on point and went above and beyond to make my dad feel special. The food was good and there was plenty of space for parking.”

“Bagel boy is a community pillar, this place have existed in Old Bridge for about 20 years now. And it just as good now, as when I tried it many years ago?? Food is always great, so many different options to choose from. You'll definitely find something you'd like. Service with a smile, and great atmosphere. I'd recommend this place 10/10 times. The Owner is very friendly and does a terrific job of keep the place running smoothly, and very tidy???”

“We used to love visiting the Staten Island Mall with my daughter. It is a wonderful place to spend time with family. The mall is always very clean, beautifully decorated, and well maintained. There is plenty of parking, and it is very easy to get there.
There are many great stores, and everything feels organized and safe. We always felt comfortable and enjoyed walking around, shopping, and simply spending quality time together.

“Shoprite is like any other supermarket. The last 2 times I bought the store bought percorino romano, it tasted funny. I threw it out the 1st time and returned it the 2nd. The liquor in the shopping center is good, with a really nice staff. The Optimum store is useless for anything other than switching out a box. The colombian restaurant, Milena, is delicious . I hope the new Dunkin Donuts gets their act together soon, so we can order coffee from there again.”
“Festival Plaza in Edison is one of the most interesting food-focused shopping centers in the area, especially for anyone who enjoys exploring Asian markets and cuisine. Anchored by a fantastic H Mart, the plaza has become something of a small culinary destination, with a variety of bakeries, eateries, and specialty shops representing many different Asian food traditions.
The H Mart alone is worth the trip. Large, bright, and incredibly well stocked, it’s a paradise for anyone who enjoys cooking Asian cuisines at home. The produce section is particularly impressive, with an enormous variety of vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, and fruits that are often difficult to find in typical supermarkets. Everything is beautifully displayed and very fresh, and the prices—especially for such high-quality produce—are fantastic.
The seafood department is another highlight, with live seafood tanks and a wide selection of fresh fish and shellfish, reflecting the market’s Korean roots while serving a wide range of Asian culinary traditions. The aisles are filled with Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian pantry staples—from noodles and sauces to snacks and specialty ingredients.
One of the most fun parts of H Mart is the prepared foods and banchan section, where you can pick up a variety of Korean side dishes, kimchi, marinated vegetables, and other ready-to-eat items. It’s a great way to sample traditional flavors or build an easy meal without cooking.
Outside the market, the plaza continues the theme with several bakeries and eateries representing many different Asian cuisines. These bakeries in particular are a joy to browse, with the light, fluffy breads and cream-filled pastries that are characteristic of Asian bakery culture, along with bubble tea, noodles, desserts, and other treats.
The plaza also includes a liquor store with a strong selection of Asian alcohol, including Japanese sake, Korean soju, and other specialty bottles that pair perfectly with the foods you’ll find throughout the plaza.
Another thing that stands out is that most of the shops and restaurants here offer excellent service and pleasant ambiance, making the whole plaza feel welcoming and enjoyable to spend time in rather than just a quick shopping stop.
Whether you’re looking to stock up on ingredients, enjoy some pastries or desserts, explore Asian cuisine, or pick up a bottle of sake or soju, Festival Plaza is a wonderful place to wander and discover something new. “This shopping plaza is located on rt.1 south Edison area. There are many shopping store, a few restaurants, I believe an Asian market, and an exercise gym.All the stores had easy access and parking for disable persons.The parking lot seemed clean. You can access the shopping plaza off of rt.1 South. It is a bit confusing if you do not know the plaza well enough, but you can also access the plaza off from Plainfield Ave.Go check it out. I will return to visit the other stores.”
“Nice helping staff some at the vegetable. Area stockers , when we go there they don't greet for some customers they greet only certain customers if we wear traditional outfits or hijab though we say good morning they ignore they don't even look at us as if we r not existing I heard the manager is Indian owner is Indian some people working there are info pak the area is multicultural not all store stockers only vegetable fruit stockers especially in the morning time 7 am onwards this is no good manager need to address them and even some customer service staff”
“Nice spot to get an eclectic mix of wants and needs. Staff in each business were helpful and willing to answer any questions we had.
The service was prompt and the workers there really seemed to appreciate their jobs.
We have also had good luck buying lottery tickets here with most spots along the way resulting in zero wins
