So let me tell y’all about this particular Quik Chek experience because the vibe was all the way off.
I went in just to grab a Black & Mild. Normally, I never get carded, but today someone actually decided to do their job. Cool, no problem. The guy asks for my ID, and I’m like, “Wow, y’all are so inconsistent.” Still, I go to pull it out.
Here’s where it goes left: instead of letting me hand it to him, he tries to snatch my ID. Now, I didn’t even realize it was upside down at first, but then he hits me with an attitude, saying, “First of all, it’s upside down,” like he was scolding me.
But because God has worked on me—and I’m not the loose cannon I used to be—I stayed calm, laughed it off, and walked out. Growth looks like silence sometimes.
Oh, but it gets better. Apparently, after I left, he started talking about me to another customer. So when I came back in to take his picture (because accountability is real), the energy was still off.
Sir, let me just say this: if you don’t like your job, quit. Because disrespect, snatching IDs, and talking about customers isn’t it. And trust me, if you’d caught me ten years ago, it could’ve been a whole different story. But a Black & Mild ain’t worth a case.
This isn’t even the first time I’ve had an issue at this location, so yeah, I’ll just keep going to the Quik Chek up the street.
Sir, go with God. May He bless you and keep you—because you clearly need it.

Every time i go into a quick check there is atleast one or two people behind the counter so why is it we have to check ourselves out why they watch im going to start going to 7/11 or wawa they have people doing the job instead of making me why you pay employees to watch your customers work

I love the people that tend to the gas pumps. They are always courteous and nice. The store is always stocked and the employees are what make me keep coming back!

I just ordered a sandwich and it's not the one I ordered, the boy threw the sandwich at me on the table, which I found very unpleasant, bad service. I am a customer of this company and I do not deserve that treatment.

I've been a customer of this store for about 2 years, and I've never seen so much sloppiness. In fact, it could lead to health surveillance. What kind of people keep a store like that. The one that only aims at money. They decreased the number of employees, put machines in the service. But they don't clean, do they? I was disgusted, I couldn't buy anything to eat just toilet paper. I'm sorry about that.
