Stopped here for a falafel salad takeout. This is a beautiful, family run restaurant that is extremely clean and well-maintained.. they have a cold case in the front for some delectable desserts like baklava and others. They also have a wide variety of authentic Turkish food items. The only reason for four stars today is because the falafels were rather disappointing. They were extremely hard and dry. It seemed as though they had either been fried too long or fried twice. And they were lacking flavor. I will definitely give this restaurant another try as everyone always has a one-off day.

So happy that they moved to a larger establishment. We love Kapadokya! The food is so tasty. The ambiance is a relaxed atmosphere. The decor is lovely. The portions are more than ample (for our family) and we end up taking home the leftovers, making 1 or 2 more meals from it. We have yet to get to dessert! Highly recommend.Parking: Easy access from Route 1 South, easy to get back on.

The best Turkish food outside of Turkey. Nothing closer to authentic. Food is absolutely delicious and brings me back to Istanbul. When you know you know.

Arriving at 10:29pm - this was the only open restaurant and it was wonderful. Although late - we were welcomed with a smile and amazing Turkish food - falafel, hummus, white bean salad, and gyros. The decor is beautiful and super clean.

2 stars for place and service, you get better Mediterranean food at other places. Expensive then other Mediterranean restaurants and didn't expect liquid sides. Uncooked food (raw from inside) fresh pita was more like frozen bread from microwave hard. A lot of food we ordered was blend no salt, no spicy, or any taste. It seemed they forgot to add basic spices. Hope they improve.

It was a place that we constantly came across and wondered about while passing by. Finally, we had the opportunity to taste their food. First of all, I will start with the Iskender, we did not like the taste, the sauce and meat had a taste that I could not taste, it was quite oily, the pitas were as thin as paper and had dough inside. Afterwards, when it comes to ordering the chessburger, it was a very tasteless burger, it had no flavor at all, it contained coarsely chopped onion and only onion taste came to my mouth. potatoes as they should be. The sauces that come with it are tasteless. Chicken soup was pretty good. We wanted tea at the end of the last meal. And we were quite surprised when you added tea to your bill at a Turkish restaurant, and $2.5 for a small tea glass was unnecessary. Tea is always a treat. Small details can sometimes lead to big decisions. And for that reason alone, we don't plan on coming again.

Went for anniversary lunch. The cold appetizer combo was excellent, as well as chicken adana and chicken kabab.

The owner Mr. Akın was very welcoming and attentive to our suggestions. Our server Tufan , as usual, was excellent. I would suggest everyone to experience his hosting skills. Food is always great. One of the best Turkish restaurants in NJ.

Kapadokya, located in Monmouth Junction, provides a relaxed and inviting atmosphere paired with attentive service. The restaurant impresses with its freshness, especially notable in the appetizers. The Lamb Adana and lamb chops are both succulent and exceptionally flavorful. Although the Spinach Manti is enjoyable, the yogurt might be a bit overwhelming for some. While desserts may not be everyone's favorite, Kapadokya is highly recommended for a delightful dining experience--a great spot to gather with family and friends, earning an overall rating of 4.5 stars.
