The team at Alan Party & Tent Rentals did a great job delivering the Chivari chairs to our event. We ordered almost 500 chairs and not only did they have the best prices around, every chair was clean and not a single person had a complaint of any damage. Highly recommend!

Wish I could give 0 stars also. Terrible quality, tent broke down, flaps secured by a single zip tie, flooded area, no heat until we asked, no sandbags or proper setup until we asked and then it totally broke as it wasn't secured to the building correctly (and caused $200k of damage to the building). To top it off, Robert takes no responsibility and just says "so sue me" when trying to discuss how they will recompense for all the damage. Interestingly, a friend had an event the same time, same day with a different tent company with the exact opposite experience...Wish I had looked here first -- stay away, stay far away.

Have used Alan Party numerous times over the years. They have never failed to deliver what I wanted, and on time, regardless of how close to the event I ordered it. Excellent rental company.

Our experience with Alan Party Rentals was horrendous to say the least. Their products are severely damaged and poorly maintained, but worst is the unprofessionalism of Robert, the manager who is not only condescending but has admitted to being aware of the condition of their products with no remorse. We have requested for a full refund, which was responded with "I can say goodbye or hang up on you". As for their rental products, they were chipped, several scratched, splintered and triple dipped to hide its condition. Let the pictures speak for themselves.

Take a look at the review section carefully. All the 1 stars seem to be people who actually worked with this company and the 5 stars are likely people the company asked to write reviews. The tent worked out OK. I can’t complain about that.The heat was quoted as one price in writing and it turns out that it was underquoted by $400. The owner expected that we would just split the difference in a mistake that was completely his fault with no questions asked. When I challenged that assumption, he threatened to not give us any day time heat and told me that I’m the most annoying customer he ever dealt with.When we got to our event, the heaters wouldn’t work. Our guests were freezing for a full hour until we turned the system on and off again. We got 2 to work at that point. But the third heater never worked. I reported the failed equipment to the owner but he has our money already so we got no response.After being spoken to so rudely I started asking around about this company. Numerous people told me how rude and unaccommodating they were. The online reviews confirm the same thing. It is really upsetting to be spoken to so abusively by a vendor, have their product not work and have no recourse other than an honest review. But please do be warned. This is not a business to patronize.

I am appalled by the customer service I received with this company. I ordered 60 wooden cheviari chairs, some of the chairs were very wobly (which is a liability for us hosting an event at a house in case someone falls) so I called the owner, Alan to ask if there is something that he can do to fix it. Rudely he said he should just take the chairs back, which is no way to speak to a customer who is simply asking to remedy a situation, especially three days before my event. Either come back and put felt tips on the chairs or give me a partial refund, I’m not really asking for a lot here. He then proceeded to degrade my character saying “I know what kind of person you are” and told me to never use his services again simply for asking him to fix a situation. This is extremely rude and no way to run a business, I would take your money somewhere else with more respectful people. Didn’t know that having an issue would be my fault and that I would get yelled at for it. Ridiculous and extremely unprofessional.

We ordered all our party rentals through Alan, ended up spending thousands of dollars. As any wedding planner can relate to, creating your vision for the big day takes a lot of work. I ordered light green napkins and chair cushions. They arrived tiffany blue. It did not work with my florals. We called to tell them the mistake, that what they delivered did not match the color that was on their website and they said that they were unable to fix it. After the wedding I called to discuss if there was any options available to compensate for this mistake. Every time I called they told me they did not have time to discuss. Finally, I was able to engage in a conversation and they would not acknowledge that they messed up and did not offer me anything. I would not recommend working with them. it is one thing to mess up, it is another to not treat your clients with respect and try to work something out. There are many rental companies in NY. It is too risky to go with a company that does not have accurate images on their website that reflects what they delivered

Thank you to Alan Party & Tent Rentals for doing a wonderful job for my recent family event. The tent you put up worked out beautifully and we received so many compliments on how nice it was. We really appreciate the professionalism and how well their employees helped with the details. In particular I want to mention how calming and helpful Frank was all weekend. Hosting a bar mitzvah party during a snowy pandemic can be a bit stressful, but Frank kept us calm and took great care of us.We happily recommend your company to our friends and neighbors.

Wish I could leave a zero star review but that's not possible on Yelp. Also wish I had read the prior reviews before hiring this company! I had a contract with Alan Party Rentals for a tent, tables and chairs for an outdoor party on a Saturday. On the Tuesday prior to the party, I received an email from the company saying "We are no longer available for your event. We do not have the tent nor do we have the rentals. We are at full capacity." (This is cut and paste from the actual email verbatim). When I called to inquire as to what was going on, Robert the owner hung up on me several times. I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional and rude. Zero explanation, zero remorse and zero customer service. I HIGHLY recommend that you avoid this company at all costs!!!
