My self, and my two adult daughters, all have accounts at Bank of America. Both of my daughters accounts were made when they were minors, so my name is attached to their accounts. We never bothered to remove my name now that they are adults. My younger daughter is mentally ill and got tricked on social media and ended up getting scammed. Her account went -$2300. I called Bank of America to file a claim, and to let them know she was scammed after a few weeks they zeroed out the negative account and closed it. , Which was fine. Today we realized that they went into my other daughters account and took the $2300 from her account! She had nothing to do with the scamming and it's only because my name was on all three of our accounts, and I didn't have enough money in my account. I guess so they took it from my older daughter. I've been a loyal customer for more than 20 years and neither me nor my daughters did anything wrong. We were the victims of a scam by some stranger and we are now the victims of robbery by Bank of America because they stole $2300 from my Daughter's account. There is so much more that I could tell you. I was on the phone for three hours the other day, trying to straighten this out with four different associates, and each one of them had a different story to tell me and none of them really made sense. today when I called I was given more miss information I'm disgusted and so angry! My older daughter had nothing to do with this and they had the nerve to go into her account and take $2300 because my mentally ill daughter got tricked online by some scammer. I'm telling everybody I know not to use Bank of America and I'll be all over social media with this as well. This is wrong.

I went to notarize a document and spoke with the cashier, who informed me that according to NJ law, the document must include a signature line before he could sign it. However, after conducting my own research, I discovered that this was not true. The following day, I returned with the requested "signature line," only to be met by an extremely rude and unprofessional manager who informed me that no one at the location could notarize the document. When I reminded him of what the cashier had told me the previous day, he dismissed it as false and instructed me to go to UPS to have it notarized, where I ended up having to pay for a service that my bank should have provided for free. The staff at this location is really untrained and the manager's behavior was unacceptable.I recommend avoiding this location if you value your time.

I was standing for more than 10 mins she never asked me to take a seat! Moreover, she wasn’t even listening what actually i was trying to make her understand! Totally unexpectedNot recommended at all

Horrible. Went in to close an account in South Orange. I was told the money would be wired and the account was handled as closed. Not true. I received a statement citing a monthly maintenance fee AFTER the account was CLOSED. Had I not called corporate BOA and addressed this, I was told fees would have continued to accrue and the liability would have been MINE. It's a good thing I'm sharp enough to detect mistakes made by the officer at BOA in South Orange. They have no clue what they're doing. Take your money elsewhere. Also, a second officer was watching the clock and repeatedly checking her cell phone. Must have had a hot date, but she certainly didn't care about her job or the customers. Shame on you, BOA, South Orange. You're pathetic. You could have caused me a lot of hassle by hiring an incompetent bank officer. Stay away folks...take your banking elsewhere. No stars if I could. They also botched, BOA did, the handling of my Mom's estate on multiple levels. BOA, you're consistently bad. Finally, the branch is filthy. Clean it up. A disgrace all the way around.

Worst bank ever. The wait is extremely long and only has one teller. The manager was extremely rude when asking for assistance. I would give it no stars if I could.

There is always a long wait. Ridiculous. Wells Fargo and Chase are both nearby and I never have to wait. Mind you two workers are sitting down at desk with no clients. Why are they not able to assist. I only go to BOA for my mom and then I remember why I don't bank with them!

ONE TELLER in the entire bank and a customer had to tell the teller to be mindful of the long line that was starting to accumulate behind him. No wonder your competitors are far better than you!
