While I was already a Chase customer, I really appreciated the service of Eddie Hernandez when I opened a new account as a Business customer. I was a walk-in, yet he gave me his full attention, and made sure that all the paperwork I needed to obtain the services I required was in place.

Came in on a Saturday morning and literally sat and waited over 30 mins to be seen. A customer walked in and took a seat to be serviced but yet a banker can’t come out in the waiting area to see if anyone wanted to be serviced. And the branch manager was rude if I never stood to be seen no one would never come over to ask questions. Need better people bankers.

I felt like I was being profiled. One of the workers at the window there seemed to do everything to look like they were busy in order not to help. She took every person but me even though they either went and came back or was clearly in line behind me.

I've been to this bank many times and I was very displeased with todays service I got. I went in around 2pm. It wasn't the waiting that was the problem but the employee that seemingly did everything she could to take care of everyone else but me. I am an older woman but look quite young and I'm not sure if she was being racist or thought that I just didn't have enough money or stack to get any service from her. An older man came in was told to stand on line for the window behind me and this lady miraculously had nothing to do anymore and gave him service immediately before me. I was left standing online till the black lady on the other side finished up with her customer.

Terrible customer service. The two times I've been here to open accounts for my daughters I've been made to wait over an hour before seeing someone while the employees are leisurely shooting the breeze and not in any hurry to help. Considering changing banks altogether to one more focused on customer service. Think twice before having to do anything more than using the ATM at this bank.

I've had it with this bank giving me the run around after I asked for my bank account to be closed which they did! But the guy at the bank said I wouldn't need a new debit card. I'm wondering why the debit card wasn't working when I was trying to order from uber eats since it keep saying something was wrong.. I called chase customer support only to be told by customer service I needed a new debit card *face palm* yeah I will definitely not be coming back to this chase bank of south orange they all act blind like they don't even notice you.Just avoid going to this bank at all costs to save yourself the headache! Try the one in livingston they have much better service!

My account had been flagged for depositing one of my mothers social security checks. We were able to walk right into the branch and be seen right away. Tanner Swan was fantastic matter of fact he was so good my mother opened her own account after not having one in over 20 years (due to mental illness). He reassured her through the entire process even offering her words of encouragement!! We also needed a to have a cashiers check done and that was a breeze. The wrong name was written on and we noticed once we got back home they were able to correct it and wave the fee. We will be using this branch for many years to come!

Apparently this bank isn't all as it seems to be since they don't seem like they know what there doing nor do they seem to pay attention when someone is in front of the register. The reason why I am giving this a one star is because the guy at the bank did not inform me that I needed another debit card when I ask him to close the fee account and open two new accounts, I called chase customer service to find out why the debit card wasn't working on the two new accounts it turns it was connected to the closed account something the guy at the bank did not tell me! And here I'm wondering why my payments were not going through for the past two days I'm so mad and upset about this.I'll take my chances with going to the chase bank in livingston they do a better job then the south orange chase bank.For all of you reading this review just don't go to this chase bank! Find another one to go to.
