Also know to locals as "The Smokeshop" is South Orange's only real bodega (not counting 7-11), at least downtown. You've got all your staples - snacks and soft drinks, mags (including ones out of reach for the kiddies), smokes of all sorts and of course - lottery tickets. Yep that's main seller here and I have even hit a couple times here off a couple scratch offs. The guys in here are friendly enough but the hours aren't that of a say NY bodega and the selections are pretty limited for a bodega if you are coming for snacks and drinks. It's enough but when compared to what you'd expect from one along with your lottery tickets you'll be let down that said I'm glad it's stuck around a a staple in the neighborhood in the face of 7-11 and S. O. Pharmacy across the street.

When trying to understand your investments and the markets, pick-up the NYT, WSJ and Barron's. If your investments aren't preforming, try the Lottery. It's all here and shop local in the heart of Madison. Bert the owner is a great guy.

Great little convenience store. Used to be a great magazine shop but magazine readership have declined overall so shop is now great for newspapers and lottery tickets along with a pretty decent candy bar counter. The store folks are friendly.
