Just leave this store and my experience was the most hurting g feelings I ever had in my entire life.. called Verizon because we had to turned off phone and I was told to returned the phone to the store where it was purchase I spoke to someone in this store and I was ask if this is where I purchase phone and I was told to bring it in when I got their I explained to them that I spoke to someone and his response was no one couldn’t have told you to bring your phone back here and I said to him yes someone did he then begin to tell me to leave his store and that he was going to call the police we said to him called the police for what at this point I felt like being black was a crime because calling the police on someone because I was told to returned the phone to the store that we purchase it.. he then closed the door with the key when I walked out..

Had a great experience at this store! Shaleeyah dealt with my problem with patient and care, provided several solutions and helped me find the one that best suited me. I didn't feel rushed out the door in the least. Excellent service!

terrible service, short staff people always have to wait extra long time for help. I absolutely dread coming here. I'll go back to the Orange location where it's much better.

I called 30 minutes before coming in to ask if I could drop off my Verizon equipment, and the woman at the front desk assured me that I could. So, I left work to go there, only for her to tell me that I couldn’t drop it off because the person who processes the returns wasn’t there. Or, I could drop it off, but she wouldn’t give me a receipt. At this point, I’m upset—why give me completely wrong information over the phone?! When I asked to speak to the manager, she goes on to ignore me for several minutes like I didn’t even exist. Verizon’s customer service is appalling, but this facility is by far the worst. As for the woman at the front desk, you need to find a job that doesn’t involve dealing with people.

I had the pleasure of working with Scott at the Verizon Store in South Orange, NJ. My purpose for the visit to the store was to resolve a system problem with my four-year-old cell phone. Scott listened to my problem contacted Verizon Customer Service using my cell phone and I was able to communicate with a live agent of the problems that I had experienced the previous day in contacting them.My attention was to wait until Black Friday to buy a new cell phone but from a box store. Scott was attentive in working with me. He was professional and listened to what I needed and what I could afford. His demeanor in helping me to address my need for a new cell phone was stellar. Equally important, the absence of feeling pressure to make a sell made my experience in working with Scott the ideal experience in purchasing a new cell phone and changing my cell phone number. I left the store with my old cell phone and a new one and the cost, MINIMAL.Scott is pleasant, personable, HELPFUL and KNOWLEDGEABLE!I look forward to working with Scott soon to activate my new cell phone and cell phone number as well synchronizing my phones to my laptopsI recently purchased a cell phone at Version in South Orange, NJ. I returned days later for Scott, the person who sold me the phone, to assist in setting up the device.Scott's accuracy while tending to detail in working on my phone was impressive. During the time that he worked on setting up my cell phone, customers came into the store. I watched him multi-task while maintaining his professionalism and customer service commitment.I had a stress-free experience in purchasing and setting up my cell phone with Scott. When it is time to upgrade my new cell phone, I will seek Scott for his assistance. Saving money and getting a bang for my buck will always be a priority for me!

Highly recommend going to the location on Springfield ave. The staff at this location screwed up a new iPhone order twice, said they weren’t in stock, didn’t admit they can take an $800 trade-in offer, didn’t make the effort to find another location that had the stock (Springfield did) and were just all-around buffoons.

Ge and Antony are patient and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything, and walk us through price breakdowns and options.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT IS NO LONGER A BLACK OWNED BUSINESS.The only reason I am giving this business 1 stars is because they were KIND. Waited 2 hours to receive assistance & they literally have 2 employees working during on a HOLIDAY. (They really need to hang a “Now Hiring” sign up?.) If a store is under staffed, I expect the owners to be in the store assisting their new employees- ESPECIALLY IF the employees are NEW. (The past owners were frequently seen in the store assisting customers and where known by the community.) The employees were literally on the phone w/ the owners who were home (??♀️) to receive instructions on how to process transactions. It was so bad I started helping customers for them . Neither the store manager or their only other employee are properly trained . I really miss the old owners.
