“In the sleepy little town of South River, who knew that you could find a treasure trove of authentic Portuguese restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Cavaco Supermarket is known in town as the go-to Portuguese deli, grocery, and bakery. The shelves are even stocked with products imported from Portugal. On the front counter, you'll find a variety of fresh baked breads, codfish fritters and turnovers, pastries, as well as of course espresso. In addition, they are a churrasqueria and offer delicious BBQ chicken, served in a giant tray over rice and fries. Their pastries, such as their bola de berlim and pastel de nata I'm not too much of a fan of compared to other spots in town, but their chicken and codfish fritter was delicious and their fries are even fresh cut. Take a look at their various imported goods and merchandise and you'll certainly be surprised!”

They have a vast selection for every item one could need or want. And the prices are not bad at all (the 18-count cage-free brown eggs carton is $4.99 today). Better yet is the friendly and professional care given me by Miguela, the Customer Service Representative. She helped me with an exchange after a brief return/exchange store policy explanation, then promptly rang other items I picked. Please commend her on my behalf. Certainly I will be back here soon... ???”
