Had passport appointment. Had all my paperwork filled out was very easy. Nikki window clerk was excellent, very professional. She went over paperwork twice to make sure everything was correct. Highly recommended!!!

The Post Office shouldn't have people like Nikki working there. Especially shouldnt be working in the passport department. Her attitude was disgusting. The way she talked to me (a grown adult) was disrespectful. She talks over you. Didn't let me finish what I had to say. When I gave her my checks she told me that they might not accept because of the SIZE of the check. She's on a power trip. Now the 2 other employees there were very polite but lucky me I got stuck with Nikki. I wish her boss would walk in and see how she talks with the public. Anyways her customer service was by far the worst I have experienced in any post office.

Wouldn't accept my package for drop-off because they said something was wrong with the label. Went to a different USPS and they took the package immediately with no issues. Clearly that meant there was nothing wrong with the label, though I already knew that from the jump since I've dropped off similar kinds of packages numerous times in the past and have never had any issues with any other USPS locations. Wouldn't recommend.

Nikki and Bridgette were very nice. I forgot to bring a label for my package, and they were able to help me out. I do not mail packages very often. They carefully explained everything I need to know for next time!

Had a very bad experience at this post office. Would not recommend to use the passport service at this location. Workers are kind and attentive. However Very Very rude and nasty I believe it was a supervisor. Was not helpful at all and was very mean. Costumer service at the lowest!!!!! I wish I took her name.
Just to let everyone know, went in to SPOTSwood location -great and amazing service. I was a walk in there and serviced without a word!!!! Immediately…

The worst post office in USA. From the staff who work there, I know why Post Office can't make a single penny profit. They give their customers more trouble than help. I promise to GOD that I will never step in their door.

If I could give it a negative star I would. Horrible horrible customer service. I had my passport appointment and with a screenshot of the confirmation and this girl at the counter is telling me it's not in her system. Such jerks! It's not easy to take out kids from school to do this. This is the 2nd time they have done this to me!! The manager on the other hand isn't helpful either. They both need to be fired!!!!

I am been doing business at this South River Post Office for over 18 yrs. I have read many negative reviews and just cannot understand why? All of my experiences have been top notch! The manager has always been very professional and knowledgeable. The employees are always patient, and take great care with listening as well as informing. I feel it is a great shame that customers just rather get angry and vent instead of communicating in a positive voice. Again, I give this Post Office five stars !

My daughter and I arrived on time for the passport appointment and the manager indicated that we should wait, claiming that we did not arrive on time, there was no other appointment , we waited 15 more minutes, the appointment was at 1:15, it was 1:30 and she indicated that serve others like make us to wait more time we left the place and we got the passport in Jersey city, very unpleasant experience at this post office in south river !

100% of the packages delivered out of half a dozen have been delivered broken and destroyed by hateful employees at usps. investigations is a nightmare, they will fire nobody.

The attitude is so bad. They asked me to fill in a form when I didn't have to fill it out. They said I used another mobile phone to pay and suspected that I had stolen other people's money. Please, I drive more cars than you earn in a year. I seriously doubt whether he is a racist
