They have revamped the Pharmacy ( The change is absolutely remarkable) to be better staffed and efficient.
The new Pharmacist Meghan is on top of Everything.
Give them another shot and don’t be scared off by previous commentary.

Finally the Walgreens in Spring Lake has a wonderful pharmacist who helps at the counter when she can. Meghan is a breath of fresh air in this pharmacy. The dread of picking up my prescription is over. Thank you Meghan!

This is the worst pharmacy. They had told me my inhaler would be ready by friday. After work I went and they were like your doctor wrote it wrong , also said it will be over 500$ . They never reached out to me so i could fix it before my doctor left for the day.So too late to call my doctor and then have to wait until monday. The idiot telling me this told me to go to the emergency room. I go back on monday after my doctor rewrote it, they then told me they had to order it. I was like you ordered it last week. They are terrible !!!!!!!!!!!. Dont go there!!!!!!

This pharmacy is a joke, wouldn’t fill my rescue in haler because it’s as needed and they can’t not put a rescue inhaler as needed through their system, never have my insulins. Never have my cholesterol medication. My doctor wrote a prescription for me didn’t have it for over a month. The lines are long, and every time I go in they are always rude when I am really nice about not having my medication. They are a joke and they should not be open. I’m sorry none of them should have their jobs by how rude they actually are.

Simply put, this place is awful. Rx is never ready when they say it is, wait times are through the roof, drive through is always closed. Staff is not helpful. One time I made a vaccine appointment online, when I showed up, they acted like I just walked in off the street. I used the iPad to sign in, and they still acted like I was just a random person trying to get a vaccine. Walgreens should be ashamed they have their name associated with this location.

This is hands-down the worst Walgreens I’ve ever dealt with. The customer service is rude and completely unhelpful, the store itself is a mess and feels disorganized, and the pharmacy is a nightmare. Prescriptions are never ready on time even when given days in advance and wait times are unbelievably long no matter when you go. Staff act like you’re bothering them just by asking about your own medication. It’s clear this location is poorly managed from top to bottom. Save yourself the stress and go literally anywhere else.

I can’t believe Walgreens would put their name on such a disorganized, poorly run establishment responsible for human health. They said they are short staffed yet there are 4 people behind the counter doing anything but helping customers. One woman in particular likes to put empty bins back on the shelf and walk back and forth to look busy. There is no sense of concern or urgency to get the line moving. You can see and hear the phone ringing but no one is picking up. I’ve tried multiple times of day to get in to speak with someone but every single time there is a long wait. Another reviewer was spot on, it’s like the customers are invisible. Personally my insurance charges so much more unless I use Walgreens. Belmar location is no better. Trying to figure out if there is a way to let a district or upper management know about the problems in this store.

This is the worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had. I thought It was a one time thing, but every time I have come back the incompetence and rudeness of everyone I’ve interacted with is astounding. Do yourself a favor, if this is the closest pharmacy to you… take the drive somewhere further for your sanity.

This pharmacy has been understaffed for SO LONG!!! A script sent on Friday. The automated service said they were working on it Fri, again on Sat and again on Sunday. No one answers the phone!!! Doesn’t matter when you call- can never get through . I went in person on Sunday and they did not have it filled. She wasn’t going to be able to fill it until Monday bc they closed in an hour. Terrible….. I will change pharmacies as this terrible service has become the norm.

Walgreens is supposed to support Capital One deposits at their registers. When I approached the cashier to make a deposit she was very rude and told me they do not do that. They she proceeded to tell me that the amount of money I was trying to deposit was odd. She scanned the barcode then told me that my card was not valid... I proceeded to explain to her that there is no card required and she made me feel uncomfortable. She was very rude and was not willing to try and help me. On my way out I saw two men behind the photo counter, one appeared to maybe be management. When I approached him to ask about the Capital One deposits he quickly shut me down and said they do not participate in that. This store did not provide very helpful customer service. It was fine that they do not participate in the Capital One program but it's the way they went about it.

horrible rude woman on the phone gave me attitude for not understanding why my REFILL was coming up as a NEW PRESCRIPTION in her system and accused me of trying to get her license revoked. anyone with eyes can look at my history and see that it’s a refill? dealing with the death of a family member and had to deal with a miserable hag on top of it :) avoid this location at all costs
