“I had an issue with the coconut spears in coconut water with pineapple syrup . It was the last jar on the shelf , it looked fine but when I bit the spear it was sour rotting an tasted a little like alcohol anyway I can get my money back or another jar when it’s restocked ?”

The roll was delicious/ fresh as they let me pick it out myself and my sandwich was great. I’ll definitely come back if I’m in the area.”
“I ordered an Italian cheese steak and it was too seasoned and salty that I couldn’t finish it after a few bites. However, the meat portion and size of the sandwich I would go back but ask them not to put the seasoning. I don’t think it is terrible I just had that one experience and it was nice and clean inside. Which is why I gave it 4 stars.”

“I’ve been shopping at food bazaar for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The store is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with a wide variety of products. Whether I’m looking for fresh produce, pantry staples, or unique specialty items, I know I can count on food bazaar to have what I need.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the customer service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They go out of their way to make sure you have a positive shopping experience, and I’ve even had employees recommend products I didn’t know I needed!
The store also offers great prices, and I love that they have regular promotions and discounts. The quality of their meat and produce is top-notch, and I appreciate that they source local products when possible.
I also like the layout of the store—it’s easy to find what I’m looking for, and the self-checkout option is quick and convenient. I’ve never had a long wait in line, which is a big plus for me.

That you can buy sandwiches or burgers and they upgrade and put like a coffee stand a like ramen stand so if you buy ramen you can heat it up there and the moment the you enter the City Supermarket you will feel a nice and cold breeze that you will kind of get the chills but in a good way so love this place ???”

The Veggie sandwich is tasty; the bread contains the oil and vinegar well, the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions taste fresh, and the salt and pepper are just enough to balance well with the other flavors. “My frequent go-to for tacos in Bloomfield. The carnitas are not shredded but instead tender chunks, with just the right density and a lovely crispy outside. Always very flavorful. Cilantro, onions, a little lemon - consistent, affordable, and very delish.I also recommend the birria tacos that they serve on occasion, but you may want to call ahead to confirm as I believe it's not a daily item.I'll update with pictures as soon as I have the patience to not inhale my food immediately. “I was just going to drop off a package for UPS, which is inside this great market. Then I saw the excellent Produce section and the Hair Care section, realizing this is the closest I've been to a 1-stop shopping place. They have a vast selection for every item one could need or want. And the prices are not bad at all (the 18-count cage-free brown eggs carton is $4.99 today). Better yet is the friendly and professional care given me by Miguela, the Customer Service Representative. She helped me with an exchange after a brief return/exchange store policy explanation, then promptly rang other items I picked. Please commend her on my behalf. Certainly I will be back here soon... ???”

“Been going here for years when they switched management it only improved what was already wonderful there’s always a diversity of creole/puerto rican foods. Fish, beef, pork, chicken, rices, stews, soups, hot pressed sandwiches like Cuban sandwiches, fried/ baked snack size bites like pastelillos, desserts like flan, bread pudding. Espressos, Malta’s, champagne cola/Caribbean sodas.”

“Absolutely love this market! I made a short trip to the market for some sushi for a quick lunch, and the staff members were so nice and welcoming! I was staring at all the sushi options (there were lots and everything looked great), and someone asked me if I had any questions about any of the products, which showed me how attentive the staff is. When I went to purchase my items, the cashier was super friendly and also pointed out the free sauces by the sushi, which I hadn't noticed.
Sushi was super tasty and tasted fresh, great color on the salmon!
Parking was easy to get in and out of.
Will definitely be back soon!”

“Fresh, high quality, inexpensive ethnic produce. I wish they had more south Asian ingredients, but overall there seems to be a great selection of Caribbean, African, and east Asian ingredients. Common grocery store items (milk, eggs, butter) seem to be cheaper in ShopRite but tropical sun has way better produce.”

“This is a small supermarket yet a great place to find the usual products at reasonable prices. Meats (butcher in-house), fruit, health and bathroom products, deli and other groceries. However, it's strength relies in the vast existence of Latin America products from Central and South American countries. Any day you may run into Guatemalans, Mexicans, Peruvians, Bolivians or Ecuadorians looking for ingredients to make their local dishes.”
“Ordered a cheesesteak. It was really good. The cook asked me how I wanted it but I told him just to make it however he makes it. He confirmed I was okay with all the toppings then proceeded to make it. That thing was so good and it was reasonably priced. It was on a long roll and while it wasn't jam packed with meat like in Philly there was a decent ratio of ingredients. My bread tasted fresh. I have a sensitive stomach so I try to stay away from corner store food but the sandwhich did not cause me any issues. The kitchen and store were really clean. The guys in the front (register) and back (cook) were courteous. I didnt have to ask for napkins, they gave them willingly when I paid.”

“The Aldi itself is beautifully stocked and clean. I had such a nice experience shopping until recently. Unfortunately with the new Ross next door, the parking is asinine and next to impossible.”
