Booked a passport appointment 3 weeks in advance, took time off from work. We come for the appointment the lady that handles passports decided to take a break and wasnt there. We waited over 20 minutes , no one showed up. No apologies nothing , no one cares. I hope usps gets privatized and they hire less unprofessional and apathetic front desk employees at this location.

The woman dealing with the passport today was very rude, would get defensive whenever we answered a question she asked us, & denied us help because she was becoming defensive. When I got home I checked out all my paperwork to make sure she gave us everything back, I noticed she gave us a sheet with other customers personal information on it - which of course I shredded. But I hope she realized she messed up in giving me that & gets in trouble for being rude.

The workers here are horrible. I had an appointment for my daughter to get her passport last week I received a phone call the day before her appointment stating that her appointment was cancelled because there system was down. I scheduled for the following week and a few hours prior to my appointment a rude worker calls stated that she is the only worker and she is going on vacation and she is canceling appointments before I can even say anything…

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Lovida at the post office, and I must say, she completely turned my experience around. After two previous visits, one being a walk-in and another an appointment that had to be rescheduled due to short staffing… I was beginning to feel a bit frustrated. But the moment I walked in on the third time, Lovida greeted me with a cheerful smile and made me feel completely at ease. Not only was she warm and friendly, but she was also incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Her positive attitude and willingness to assist truly made me forget about the previous inconveniences I had faced. I highly recommend seeking out Lovida’s assistance if you’re ever at this location—she’s a true asset to the team!

I had a scheduled appointment for my son to get his first passport and photo taken at this location. From the moment I walked in the customer rep at the desk had an attitude the moment I said I was There for a scheduled appointment. She yelled at me “All Appointments cancelled today you got a call” excuse me I never got a call today. She proceeded to say “we are short staffed I don’t need to help you with this passport”. She made me go get a copy of my son’s birth certificate while having the actual original copy at hand. When I returned she said “I’m going to lunch” says I’m not helping you. I have Never been treated with such disrespect before. Not only was she was disrespectful to me but she was also rude and disrespectful to my 8 year old son. Who couldn’t understand why we were being treated this way. I took time out to schedule this appointment as well as took my son out of school early for this appointment. I am A branch manager of a Bank and even when we’re short staffed we take ownership of all appointments at hand and we take care of all clients despite of how many teammates are working or not working. There’s no excuse as to why they have a need to push clients out the door or treat them horribly. Corporate will be called and I will be filing a complaint against this location and its staff. If this isn’t a job you can handle maybe it’s time to find another career path to you’re liking.

May 01 I had a scheduled 10:15 passport appointment arrived @10:00 was greeted by Lovita. She provided great customer service with a friendly smile and I certainly appreciate it, because we don’t really see that too often these days. Kafayat was just as wonderful ladies thank you for your Professionalism. 10 out of 10.

Worst post office ever, I had a passport appointment for my son which I scheduled 3 1/2 weeks out. I had to take him out of school because they don’t offer appointments past 2:30. He is 17 and needs to apply himself. We got to the post office and were told the lady isn’t working today who is doing passports although we had an appointment for weeks. They told me they called and send text messages out but I never received neither one. My son missed school time for absolutely no reason and then they had the audacity to ask if I can come by tomorrow and my son misses school again. Do not go here using this post office for passports, very unfriendly and unprofessional

Rude curt unhelpful is what I experienced today and it’s not the first time. I will drive to another town before I walk over to this office. This is not new. It’s part of the culture

Rude, show no interest in providing respectful customer service. If you are customer facing you have to at least fake that you don't hate your job and people which they don't even pretend to.

Every time I have had to ship a package to a military base for international with customs forms, I have been treated with respect. Love those ladies! They are friendly and funny and DO THEIR JOB! I live in Union but I will drive to Springfield from now on bc they are stress free every time!!! Union PO on Chestnut needs to take notes bc they should be avoided at all costs!

Even though it's often busy, the young ladies in the front are always courteous and apologize for the wait/ensure those of us waiting in line that they will be right with us (and they are). They're organized, efficient, and great at what they do...and so the line moves quickly.
They are also patient when customers need help/have questions.
And one of the young ladies up front is VERY funny! She was clever/witty and engaging with customers in a way that made me laugh several times while waiting.
