The female pharmacist, Mercedes must hate her job. She is literally the most unfriendly person I’ve ever come in contact with. She acts like you’re bothering her in every interaction you have with her. One word answers and miserable look on her face are standard. Sal on the other hand is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, I honestly don’t know how he can work side by side with such a nasty person. .Mercedes, if you don’t like dealing with people, find a new profession or work behind the scenes where you don’t have to interact with the public because your attitude is DISGRACEFUL!
Hey CVS, why don’t you read your reviews and see all the negative comments about this same person????? Are you that hard up for pharmacists?

Called and spoke to manager about a prescription that was labeled as eye drops but could be used in ear, and he was informative and kind . He did not rush the phone call. Very pleasant.

It takes FOREVER for someone to pick up the phone yet every time I go in there are 6 or 7 people there-what are they doing? One time I called at 1:20 and was on hold for 10 minutes and then got disconnected because they take their lunch break. I had surgery and the pain killers I was prescribed are on backorder for the past 4+ months. Instead of letting the surgical nurse or calling me and letting me know they just waited until we got there to let us know when it was too late to contact the Dr office.

Horrible customer service. They will straight up ignore you for up to 20 minutes if you are trying to pick up a prescription. I get that they might be busy with calls, but at least acknowledge people waiting.

I picked up a prescription at CVS yesterday and was charged $31.34 for a 30 day supply. When I got home I called Costco to see how much they would have charged and was very surprised to find out that a 30 day supply would have been $8 and a 90 day supply would have cost me $14. I feel very ripped off by CVS and will not have my prescriptions filled there ever again.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The pharmacist Sal is very knowledgeable & caring. Prescriptions are ready quickly and easily.

I’d give them 0 stars if I could. Had my flu vaccine scheduled for 10am , got there at 9:45. No one there said I had to wait till 10 which I did. No one at counter getting anything and they finally gave me my shot at 10:25 after they said they couldn’t take me because I was here too early and my check in rolled over to end . Poorly run pharmacy with no idea about customer service

Shoutout to the pharmacist Sal who vaccinated my 90-year-old parents for the flu and Covid. He has taken care of them several times, always with such kindness and professionalism. Just an incredibly warm person who always manages to make them smile while explaining how the vaccines work and how to mitigate reactions. I can’t say what this means to our family as we navigate these challenging days. We have the greatest respect and gratitude for Sal.

I have had no problem with the pharmacy for years but they now have a unfamiliar person at drop-off and pickup whom just has a horrible demeanor. I expect I will go the extra 1/4 mile to Costco to get my prescriptions in the future.

Sal the pharmacist in Target in Manahawkin has been taking care of me for over 20 years, every month, since I got hurt at work. He has given me ONLY the very best of care. I can’t imagine myself with any other pharmacist! I can only give him the highest of praise and a HUGE Thank You for all of your care.

Closes for three days in a row and I can’t get my medication. Feeling awful without it. No other CVS locations will help. Pathetic.

I brought my prescriptions here. The lady was behind two desks. Not speaking loud enough for my to hear her. Then proceeded to be very rude when I told her I couldn't hear her. She was extremely passive aggressive. This was early in the morning and as I was trying to start my day on a positive note, she completely s*** on it. Absolutely do not recommend this pharmacy.

This pharmacy closed a few days ago with no notice. If you have a prescription that was in process of being filled, CVS won't transfer it to another CVS. You'll have to call their district manager for assistance. If your script was already processed through insurance, you run the risk of paying out of pocket if you have to have it called into another pharmacy. I spoke with CVS' corporate office who wasn't aware the location was closed and have no indication when it would be open again. This pharmacy was notoriously understaffed when it was functional, now it's simply inconvenient. Recommend avoiding, even if it does eventually open again.
