The staff was wonderful. this was the 1st time our 8 year dog has stayed with anyone but family. We were kept up with email updates and received pictures. They did spoil him with chicken and rice since he would not eat. They gave him is medication and like I said spoiled him. Harley will definitely stay there again. We are thinking of sending him once a week for daycare. Highly recommend

We have been bringing Jake here for years, he went reluctantly, but we knew he would be in great hands.Recently Jake passed away, Luckys sent a lovely note and fruit to acknowledge his passing.We knew Lucky cared for Jake when he was alive, but to care about Us!A wonderful place that we will use again when our new dog Finds Us!

My Golden Retriever is very energetic and he loved it! Will not hesitate to bring him back. He loved the pool and played well with the other dogs and loved the humans too

Absolutely love this place! Was having problems finding a place where my dog was comfortable with nail trims (tried a couple other places with no luck). We also use them for boarding and day care. My guy gets so excited when we pull up!

Lucky’s is fantastic! I’ve used their daycare, boarding, and grooming services, as well as buying things from the shop. The employees are great and incredibly caring. They can take you for a tour to see where the pets play, sleep, etc. They take precautions such as weighing your pet, monitoring how frequently they “go” and how they’re eating. When your pet stays, they’ll also send you a pic and a summary every day!

I can’t say enough good things! I felt bad picking my dog up because I feel he was happier at Luckys than home. Happy hour, swim time in the pool and a loving staff is what you can expect at Luckys. I’m happy to have found the spot for my dog and I will gladly travel the 1 hour when vacationing to bring him to Luckys.

With my last golden I used Lucky’s often. Tasha never came home with kennel cough, parasites or any other illness. I loved it there and so did Tasha. The front desk staff was amazing as well as the groomers, and the staff that interacted with the dogs.Something has changed over the last five years. I boarded my puppy for 3 nights. While I was in the hospital I received an email from them stating there was no food left. ( curious, about this).They asked if they could give her chicken and rice. While I was grateful for the notification , I have to ask myself why they would email me instead of calling me?? I don’t check email everyday .Why didn’t they call? I have my own thoughts on this.When Callie came home she was completely distraught. They delivered her to me since I couldn’t drive with broken ribs and was taking a painkiller. Callie didn’t greet me nor did she make eye contact. She jumped on the sofa and slept for 17 hours... yes, 17 hours. She got up twice with diarrhea. I took her to the vets the next day after staying up with her all night and taking her temp. Every four hours.She came down with kennel cough and was put on meds.I needed to cancel my vacation . She was supposed to go with me.In speaking with a trainer TODAY I found out that I’m his 4th client in which their dog has come home with kennel cough. One dog was unfortunate to get kennel cough and parasites. ( I do realize that this is the time of year that kennel cough is present more than other times of year).With that being said, perhaps if they didn’t take in 60 to 80 dogs at a time the number of pets getting sick would lessen.

Obsessed with Lucky’s and will plan to use them every time we come to visit family in Beach Haven! We booked daycare with only a couple day’s notice and even scheduled a nail cutting service the same day without any issues.When we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional— To our surprise, we were also able to arrange to have our pup dropped back off in Beach Haven (and got to avoid so much traffic on a busy summer weekend)!Oh and the retail selection is amazing!! They have a HUGE assortment of toys, leashes, apparel and doggie treats.We also loved that he was returned to us smelling better than we dropped him off (even though we just had his nails trimmed)x Plus, getting a puppy report card so we got to know what he was up to all day was sooo cute and nice.Btw The hat we had to buy him didn’t end up fitting… but now we get to return it right at the Lucky shop in Beach Haven!

Unfortunately, there is not an option to give zero stars to this establishment. I am shocked to see any positive ratings.We boarded our two dogs at Lucky's for 8 days. When we initially went in to book our dog's stay, we were greeted by an unfriendly receptionist. That should've been the first sign to stay away. But, everyone has a bad day, so we overlooked it. She informed us that personal dog beds/toys were not permitted and if we wanted our pets to have a toy it would have to be purchased there. (Keep in mind that the website says something entirely different). We brought out dogs back for Check-In on a Friday and there was massive confusion when we entered, due to both animal drop off's and pick up's. There is absolutely no set of procedures in place for either. You just randomly select one of the receptionists at the counter to go to. Unfortunately, we ended up with an incompetent receptionist who (was training a new receptionist). This receptionist quickly rummaged through the bags that we brought containing food, treats, medication, and written instructions (regarding food dispensing, likes, dislikes etc; which was sent to us to be filled out by Lucky's) and told the new receptionist that they could enter the information regarding the food at a later time. We called to check on our dogs on Sunday and received a call on Tuesday informing us that one of our dogs ran out of food. I was totally flabbergasted because I placed the appropriate amount of food and treats in each bag for each day with three additional bags in case of an emergency. I also told the receptionist upon arrival, and wrote the information on the information form given by Lucky's. I further expressed my confusion and the worker informed me that my dog was receiving two bags per day which is equivalent to four cups of food. My instructions, which were not properly followed, clearly stated that my dog should have received one bag per day. The worker that called asked me what they should do? I responded that they would have to buy food to get my dog through the remainder of the stay and it would have to be the food listed on the form because he is on a special diet. I also reiterated the name of the food which the worker incorrectly repeated twice. I told the worker that this was a problem because he should not be eating this much food daily. We checked in again with Lucky's on Thursday and were informed that they were fine, loved their walks, and the attention that animal care was giving them. However, they failed to inform us that both of the dogs had Kennel Cough, diarrhea and one of the dogs who weighs 10 lbs lost weight (2lbs) due to not eating. However, on her Lucky's report card, it states that she ate very well. We spoke to Whitney (one of the managers) who informed us that this happens because this is the time of year for Kennel Cough, When I told my vet what was said, she raised an eyebrow and said that information is false. After incurring substantial vet bills for both dogs, we called back and left word for a manager. Richie called back and was apologetic stating that we should have been told that the dogs were coughing and mention should've been made to the weight loss of our smaller dog. He offered a Deluxe Suite for our dogs next stay. Thanks but no thanks.If you care about your animals, and value their health stay far away from Lucky's Bed and Biscuit.

At Lucky's bed and biscuit my dog ,makes new friends every day ,is so fun for my dog at the cabanas,the pool and so much more,so if you're looking for a good doggy daycare then go to Lucky's bed and biscuit

Our family has been using Lucky's B&B for 8 years. The front desk staff, play handlers and groomers have taken great care of our pups. They're strict on vaccination policy and cost a bit more than other facilities. But when we ask our girls if they want to go to Lucky's, the barks and cries of excitement light up the house. Thanks Lucky's B&B.

My dog really enjoys going to Lucky's since she was a puppy. I use Lucky's for daycare and overnights. The staff is always very friendly and helpful with reservations.

I cannot say enough good things about Lucky's. My little pup enjoys her time there and I enjoy knowing she's safe and happy. My only complaint is that they aren't closer to where I live but I'll still make the drive every time!
