Make sure you get here by 6pm, even though they claim the pharmacy is open until 7pm, they have no issue turning customers away while they are still supposed to be open..."I'm sorry, our systems are shut down" is equivalent to "we manually shut them off 10 minutes early so that we can turn customers away after they drive 25 minutes to get an over-priced prescription. " How many more one star reviews does this place need before they do something about it?SPARTA PHARMACY IS THE WAY TO GO!

Dr sent prescription to be filled 3 days prior. I showed up at cvs. They stated prescription wasn't ready for pick up. 3 days and still was not ready. They told me come back 40 minutes. I told them never mind and switched to another location. This location needs serious help with the pharnacy.. Their always delayed. They need more help.Avoid this cvs unless of your willing to spend 30 minutes on line from slow service..

Absolutely horrendous they said they were working on the prescription at 1155 a single steroid for a sick infant 45 minutes later they "Thanked us for our patience"...

This cvs pharmacy is fantastic. I drive 20 min to specifically use this pharmacy location. The go above and beyond, I had given up on using CVs pharmacy but the staff at this location is highly efficient and make filling prescriptions easy.

Michelle, the associate on the front register, was extremely helpful with the issue I was having using the self checkout register and applying a coupon to my order. Kudos to CVS for employing an associate who understands the importance of customer service!

Don't use the Pharmacy here! The head pharmacist has repeatedly mishandled my prescription and is unnecessarily combative. Then each time I attempted to fix the problem, they tell me to sign up for prescription delivery. I'm really not surprised there are so many 1-star reviews but I am surprised that CVS hasn't fixed the problem yet. It's disappointing because CVS is the only drug store that doesn't sell cigarettes and I want to be a loyal customer. So just avoid this location altogether. I honestly don't know how they could let such unprofessional and, quite frankly, incompetent people handle prescription medication.

I really wanted to thank Mohaned this evening who is training as a store manager. He is exceptionally professional and kind . The clerk tonight was also amazing. Thank you both so much for helping me out !!! Kudos to my new pharmacist and pharmacy technicians , the front counter and the store manager in training. I look forward to all of you being in Byram township,Nj !

Pharmacy staff is a hit or miss when it comes to customer service. I’ve had a staff member look at my prescription and then scold me for not wearing a mask because I had the flu. This was said loud enough the customers behind me could hear. One customer told me before leaving that was a clear violation of my privacy and that I should call corporate. Now again I’ve called to find information regarding my one year olds prescription. The one staff member told me I had to call around to other locations because they did not have it. I did just that and found a supply in the Sparta cvs. When I called back, a different woman spoke with me on the phone. She was short with me and sounded incredibly annoyed. I’m not sure if they’re too stressed or overworked but it’s not okay for any of these things to happen. CVS you need to follow up on these issues in Stanhope .

I have left a previous review regarding this store and the pharmacies inability to carry out a simple task as to send a request for my refills of meds I have been on since 1995 and will be on until I die. The sad part is i requested they send the request to the doctor. Now, i had some left so gave them two weeks to prepare my refills. I happened to have had a doctors appointment causing me to pass the store so on my way home called to see if my script was ready. Well I was on HOLD for 35 minutes and literally pulled into the parking lot with them having me on HOLD. I went in directly to the pharmacy counter and told them they could take me off of hold , I am here now. With that you can imagine that I was already somewhat agitated being kept on hold for 35 mins as no one should have to wait that long to speak to a representative. Mind you the store was completely empty, as i thought well maybe they are slammed but that was not the case. NOT ONE person in the store or pharmacy counter. I walked right up no wait. Then to make matters worse , they told me I had no refills and I had no prescriptions available. When I addressed my concerns about the imcompetency of this facility a woman by the name of Susan laughed at me not once but twice as during the conversation i noticed her laugh at me and thought maybe i am imagining this as i was a bit upset. But yes she laughed right in my face. I will surely never use this facility ever again and truth be known if i was not forced to use cvs by my insurance carrier , would NEVER use them again. There are so many competent pharmacies out there but this is NOT one of them.. I evperienced this in the Stanhope NJ store. Get better help, next they will probably hurt someone as they have zero clue as to what they are doing. God Bless America when you can just show up for a job for the paycheck, and fudge your job up so badly, and still have a job!!!

Just went to pick up a new RX., sign on window states pharmacy closed at 2pm today!!! How can they do that without warning!
