Love love the Doctor and staff they really know how to give love to all animals .. my dog has gotten his teeth done twice he is 15 years old and we comes home he act 100 % no discomfort and the next day he looks and feel better and eats after he removed teeth and the price is reasonable that how I know it's not all about the money is more about the animals Thank you all for your great love and caring for my dog..

Doctor Blease and his staff were amazing, he is a truly old school animal lover veterinarian. They took their time to evaluate my pet and provide a diagnosis. I am very grateful for finding him.

I hate giving a place that helps animals and low rating but, my experiences there equate to that. The first time bringing my dogs there I was appalled by the smell alone. As some one who has such a minor allergy to cats and dogs I wouldn't consider myself allergic at all, when I was here my eyes began itching and watering as well as my throat. The place was so encumbered by animal dander dirt and in general uncleanness that my barely existent allergies attacked. I don't want to know what it would have done to my husband, who actually is allergic to cats. Side note, they have a cage of kittens in the main waiting area that you can't touch. What a temptation! My kids who were with me the first time just wanted to pet them and I had to wrangle them as well as my dogs away. Put the poor kittens where people and dogs can't bother them. It likely is a stressed for the kittens too.The staff seemed friendly enough, but when they trimmed my dogs nails they cut the quick on every single one and had him bleeding all over the place while he shook terrified. That dog has never been afraid a day in his life (unlike my other one) and he was shaking. My other dog is old and anxious, so she shakes about everything. They only had her bleeding a little bit.The second time we went back, it was because old girl had a hematoma in her ear. The older man who saw my dog drained her ear with a syringe and taped her ear together for pressure and said, this works about 30% of the time. I went with it but it made no sense with him knowing she's had to have surgery to stop this before. We ended up at another vet the next week to take care of it. This was supposed to be our last time there because of the smalls, the lack of cleanliness etc but my hubs booked another one forgetting this was the no place. This was for check ups and updated shots. The check up for 1 of 2 dogs instead of both was weird, but they weighed them and did their nails, less bleeding this time on one, no bleeding on the other. The weird thing was they didn't check ears despite me telling them the one had a small hematoma again (she's a head shaker which I told them) and didn't check her mouth even though I mentioned her losing teeth in her old age and her nasty breath. They do have a good size area to walk your dogs, and visiting the chickens is nice.We now are taking them to another vet.

My dog went to this place all his life and he usually sees a great vet who is very patient and understanding. However, there was an emergency for my dog who was 14 and he had to see Dr. Robert R. Blease. I told the doctor my dog is old and does not want to be on the table. He proceeded to grab my dog and perform on the table and push his arm in my dogs neck and covered his eyes with a blanket. It was painful to watch and my dog ended up dying in his hands on the table and we had to watch. The nurses were so kind and empathetic but Dr. Blease did not care that my dog died and asked if he was aggressive towards children. He was a terrible vet and inconsiderate and I don't know how is employed. He clearly has very little compassion for animals and his patients.

Horrible -Brought my indoor/outdoor cat in (who’s as evil as they come) honestly thinking he was going to have to be put down after finding him suddenly lame on his back leg & in what appeared to be excruciating pain (he barely put up a fight to go in the crate or on the table when being handled). When I was explaining that I thought he may have been hit by a car to Dr. Blease, he didn’t concur and dismissed me quicker than the lackluster physical exam he did on the poor cat. He quickly prescribed two shots, one a broad spectrum antibiotic & one for pain (which I’m not entirely sure the cat got because if he did he got ZERO relief from it). He tried to tell me the cat would need an updated rabies vaccine also. Arguing with me when I told him that the cat’s vaccine was up to date, until I went to my car a returned with paperwork proving it, but still trying to charge me for it.The only nice thing I have to say about the entire place is that the young woman behind the front desk was very kind and compassionate. I hope she can find a better office to work for.

I've been going to Dr Blease for my pets needs since I was a kid. Wouldn't trust any other vet

I decided to give this vet a chance after some recommendation. Was not pleased with this vet at all. Ran way behind on my appointment time and waited in the room for a long time. This place is a mess and not very welcoming.(go upstairs to the bathroom-- EEK) It smells terrible and reeks of litter box. [I have been to MANY vets. Not ONE other has smelled like this] One visit and was done with this. The basic checkup was terrible. No bloodwork was taken and they didn't even listen to her heart or lungs. After I tried to explain to Dr. B my cat had various procedures and problems from the shelter I adopted her from. They were was dismissed with his comments and 'diagnosis' of what he thought the issues may be. Fine, whatever. What do I know? I asked her nails to be cut and my cat was pretty terrible, but I was very upset how they handled it. They pinned her to the table and proceeded to cut her nails.I have to say, I decided to go to another vet for another opinion and wow, they listened to me and solved my issues and did a PROPER check up and a nail trim in PEACE. Please do not spend your money here.

Very good care and customer service. Nothing is better than having all your questions answered and a problem solved for a very fair price. We are so glad to have them as our family vet.

Absolutely horrible horrible experience here as a new client who had just moved to the area. The doctor who should NOT still be practicing was clueless about the issue with my 11 year old Yorkie. Ordered over $600 in lab tests, chest x-rays, etc. My experience has always been the vet office calling the client with the lab results NOT the other way around. Thanks to the incompetence of this vet my dog had to be put down 1.5 days later. The issue here is that days after they still never called with the lab results…. I also never received the lab results. I will be disputing the bill for all the BS lab tests that were ordered. Here’s the worst part, if the vet knew what he was actually doing he wouldn’t have been able to miss the fact that my dog had a built up of fluid in his lungs… which easily could have been “fixed”. As a long time lifelong dog owner I am writing this to warn others about this vet.

We had our cat spayed there recently, they did not give us the correct care information for her afterwards. They also refused to neuter the two male cats we had scheduled, they had taken their ages when we scheduled the appointment. When we got there they refused to take them because they were too young.
