This is a huge store so I'm giving it an extra star. It appears as though a lot of the ratings are inflated because of the size of the store. It is one of the biggest dumpsters in South jersey. So if you enjoy the art of dumpster diving, this is your place! This Goodwill unfortunately keeps a lot of broken garbage, and for the good stuff they do have, they sure do like to overcharge for it to compensate. You see some of the stuff in here is just not sellable at any price. And there's no way that used jeans should be coming in here at $13, not unless they are really a boutique item. And speaking of jeans why do they even bother having size markers if they're all just thrown together helter skelter? You would think that the size matters for shoppers, but it sure doesn't mean a thing to the employees who stock these racks. Last but not least, my complaint lies with the management for deciding that winter gloves are not clothing and should be considered taxable. I have told them on multiple occasions to take the tax off, and each time you get a blank stare like you are from another planet. Clothing is not taxable in the state of New Jersey. I encourage everyone to push back on their lamebrained policy to not include gloves as winter clothing. To try and pass it off as a taxable item here in the sales tax friendly state of NJ is absurd. A lot of people think you need to go to Delaware to get a sales tax holiday, but not true! New Jersey carves Out Clothing as a not taxable item. And everybody knows this! Except Goodwill, apparently.

I'm extremely disappointed. A while back I bought a guitar amplifier here for $80. When I got it home, after about 3 minutes of use it began making a crackling sound then smelled like burning wires. I took it back the next day, and the manager gave me a store credit. I specifically asked her if it expired at any point, and she said no and to have them call her if anyone have me a problem with it. I've been back many times since, but found nothing I wanted. Fast forward to today, I found another amplifier. I tried to use the store credit, but they wouldn't take it, stating you must use it within 30 days. The manager who issued it no longer works there, and the current manager told me she would not honor it. Some Goodwill stores have a two day return/refund policy on electronics. I'll have to go to them instead from here on out.

First of all, I have never seen such a messy and disorganized Goodwill, and I go to a lot of Goodwills. But this one was particularly annoying for the following reason: I was actually looking for a couch or loveseat and saw one that I was interested in. It was $60. I sat down on it, of course, to try it out before I purchased it. I was told I had to get up because the policy was to not sit on the furniture. I explained that I was planning to buy it and needed to see how it felt, but she said that didn't matter. I was not allowed to sit on it. So I didn't buy it. And they lost a $60 sale. But then I asked to speak to the manager to find out why you couldn't sit on the couch before you purchased it, since, of course no one would ever do that. She came out and was very friendly, but still said that I was not allowed to sit on the furniture. I asked why not, and she said it was a safety concern. I asked what was unsafe about sitting on a couch, and she said you just don't know what might be in there. I told her I thought that was the dumbest policy I had ever heard in my life. I'm not sure what she thought was in there, but if it was something dangerous, I'd like to think should've taken it out of there before she put it out on the floor to sell. I will never go to the Goodwill again. And speaking of a safety concern, I almost tripped 3 different times in the Furniture room because there's stuff all over the floor. Trip hazards everywhere. Corporate needs to take a look at this place. Stick to Goodwill in Pennsauken. That one is run beautifully.

I frequent this store, but what makes me upset is all the Designer handbags they sell at real used prices that are FAKE bags. They have used, damaged LV knockoffs for $50-$100!! I told the manager they were not real and those prices were unreasonable for damaged fakes. He argued with me and told me I'm the only one who thinks that. Ok! So it's ok to be selling them to people who don't know better?! There also was a coocoo clock that was $100. When I asked who made it, he said " I don't know." These managers are just making up prices without bothering to look up values, and whether they are authentic. I believe this is wrong and illegal.

The only thing that needs to be fixed are the hours. An employee told me it wasn't open & the website said it was. So that was embarrassing because I'm the most polite person you'd ever meet. Lol.

Stopped by here because i love thrifting and going through items. The items are always unique. This place had everything sectioned out nicely. It was easy to go to a section and know what is there. Going to pay at the cash register is a little odd as there seemed to be only 4 but no one was at the register. We waited a few minutes and someone cane over to check us out. They were very quick and efficient.

This location has had some updates lately with the layout and organization of the store and it's helped tremendously! They always have great product and their employees are so sweet every time I'm there. Highly recommend!

DONATION CENTER REVIEW ONLY: This week, I stopped by the Goodwill in Stratford to drop off some donations at their center. This was my first time dropping off at this location. Overall, it was an easy process with the self-service receipt kiosks. The donation center is around the back of the building. Drive towards the left side of the building (you'll see the car wash in the next lot). Drive until you see the bay with the hanging plastic dividers. Once you get closer, you'll see handwritten signs and know you're in the right place. The self-service kiosks are to your right once you enter. This is a huge store/processing center, so there are a lot of workers there and they are busy. When I got there though, I still got assistance from someone (which I was grateful for). I haven't checked out the store in the front yet, but it's on my to-do! (Thrift store lover for life)

A singular positive for society. I recently contributed to them a large number of usable and serviceable items. It would have been tragic if these ended up in a landfill. Instead Goodwill will make sure they continue to be used. Making the contribution could not have been easier. The workers on the loading dock cheerfully did most of the work. I was on my way in no time.

I was In here the other day to buy a vase and had to leave empty handed. I was really disappointed, Andrea the cashier was so rude to me and treated me like garbage. She damaged my items and did not help me whatsoever.

Years ago, I used to HAVE to shop here ... bad times during my divorce and job cut!!! You do what you gotta' do though. It's great that this store is available. There are some great deals - just give yourself at LEAST an hour! It gets crazy crowded on the weekend. Their donation center is in the back - remember your receipt!

I go to this store often, but it is so dirty that I sometimes wonder why. Most of the "dressing rooms" are almost always locked, leaving maybe 1 or 2 available for use. The floors in the dressing rooms are flithy, the doors are filthy, and they smell. The doors in front of the store are so dirty it is a wonder you can see inside the store to see if they are open. I am really surprised when I hear over the P.A system how wonderful their stores are, and then I look around the Stratford one and I think if only the management was in this one, they would puke! I like the bargains, sometimes, but the store itself is really disgusting.

A large store with everything from clothes to books and records to electronics and miscellaneous housewares. Easy to access, plenty of free parking and conveniently located on the White Horse Pike. Proceeds from sales go to fund their Job Club which assists people looking for work through workshops and one-on-one job coaching.

Well, well, well what can I say about this Goodwill? SMH. I have been pretty familiar with this Goodwill for years and been trying to figure out how to report and review. This Goodwill has nasty floors and the people that work their are nasty and rude. The merchandise is not the same like it used to be back in the day. When it was ran by others I believe that this Goodwill did very good at some point but the managers that they have are very rude there's a heavy set black woman and the older white male that I just don't care for at all I've heard them talk about the staff they supposable supervise, I've heard them talk about the volunteers or the CWEP clients they have in their volunteering with them I just don't care for this Goodwill. I go because of the convenience of it and it's not too far from my home they have totally changed since years ago. But I actually just went in there the other day and it looks like they're redoing the floors way overdue. I hope it's a lot cleaner and their merchandise is a lot better and stop faking the public out with the colors that are on sale. Example if you go in there red and blue tickets might be on sale for 50% but then they have most of the workers or the volunteers pick those colors so its seldom that you actually find the colors that they're advertising for. They also stop allowing you to use your student discount you can only use it on a Thursday really good will? it's not like it's a big deep discount its 20% you guys can afford 20%. As much as everyday people willingly give to you all you should be able to give discounts everyday...like student discounts etc. I have been to several Goodwills and the cleanliness of the stores are atrocious. Also this good will use to do app the store real nice for Christmas and even have Christmas music playing and they don't even have that thing or it goes right with their bah humbug attitudes of the workers.
