New manager and she’s wonderful! She is very knowledgeable about all the products. I also had a return and it was easy and she was understanding. I had a great experience and I will return. It’s a changed store.I s was lol

awful customer service. i am younger than 18 and was willing to buy products from the store, but as soon as me and my friends walked in they rudely glared at us. my friend was smelling a perfume and they came up to us and asked us to leave. i also turned around once and saw threw workers in a line glaring at us. never coming again

The staff members are absolutely horrendous. I am under 18 and I went there with a friend. The first time I went, an attendant rudely kicked us out because we had drink. Understandable (i guess), so we left. When we came back without drinks, another attendant who was extremely aggressive kicked us out again because we were under 18. It’s a makeup store, why should I need a parent with me?? I’m 16 and a paying customer. Never coming here again!!!

This store has the worst customer service ever! Ask for service, sales are so rude and don’t know how to use proper manners. Better spend your money somewhere else! Will never shop at this Blue Mercury!

Loved my shopping experience here at Blue Mercury in Summit. Alana was so helpful in finding just the right things for me. She took the time to introduce me to some new products that I really love and she’s very knowledgeable about the product assortment which is awesome because there is so much to choose from.The store is spacious, well lit and easy to navigate. This is going to be my new BM shop going forward.

Rude sales associates. Management should look into who is working there because customers would buy more if the associates were actually helpful and pleasant.

I shop regularly there and they know me, but never a smile! Not welcoming at all. From all the negative reviews, you'd think management would act, but nothing changes. This is the problem when employees work on commission.

OMG! I have NEVER EVER been treated so poorly. I went in with a bare face needing and wanting to buy makeup. First of all a woman greeting me with only a hello. No can I help you with anything. Then, I asked a younger girl if should could help me buy eye makeup bc I needed to do a Profile picture. I did not need a makeover. I just needed eye makeup and for her to test the colors on me. She proceeded to tell me that they are short staffed with no one in the store and that she would need to get approval from her boss. What in the hell is going on with this place?

Just walked out of here. This is the type of place with snooty attendants who looks down on you when you walk in wearing your yoga pants and trainers. No hello, no assistance, one barked at me about testers. Rude, unhelpful, no manners. Spent a decent amount here too.Relax, ladies, you’re makeup attendants. Don’t forget your role.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a store (good or bad) but my experience at blue mercury was so shocking that I felt strongly enough to write a review. First the customer service was terrible. Second, blue mercury has a mask mandate (entirely fine - I support whatever the store feels comfortable with) but NJ does not, so if I did walk into a store that requires a mask, but the state does not, you would assume that blue mercury would provide customers with a mask if they do not have one. I asked for a mask and they said they only give the masks to their employees if they had forgotten one. I asked if I could order online and they could bring it to my car - which they said not if you don’t have a mask. (I drove 20 minutes to this location). I then said I know exactly what I want can you ring me up, I will read you my card from outside the door. She said no. I then stated I just needed a simple eyebrow pencil that should be in my records because I’ve shopped there before for the same one. I then mentioned that my grandfather had suddenly passed away and that I just needed to grab this eyebrow pencil and then head straight to Virginia to attend his funeral the following day. Her response to that was, ‘I’ve had a bad day too’. I will never be shopping at blue mercury again.
