One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. right down the road from the train station so easy access to NYC. the bathroom was a little small but was perfect size for a shorter person. Will definitely be recommending the place to family and friends. And the house keeper was lovely she was discreet and polite and did a wonderful job.

This is the best located hotel in summit! We stayed here over Christmas and the hotel was beautifully decorated. They shared the check in instructions well in advance and made sure to check in to ensure we made it in alright. It’s a beautiful Victorian house with lovely decorations and everything you need. I found the bed and pillows really comfortable and had a great few nights sleep!

We enjoyed staying at the Turkey Hill Inn’s first-floor suite. Lovely old building, great location for walking to the downtown Summit restaurants. Comfortable bed and furniture, quiet street, clean. It was like staying at grandma’s house, assuming your grandmother has beautiful antique and mid-century furniture.
We were there in November, when temperatures varied by 20 degrees throughout the day. It was 60 degrees outside when I called Maria because the bedroom was too hot. She came right over, opened the bedroom window to let the radiator heat out, and turned off the heat for the building. She also brought linens so I could use the folding bed in the (cooler) living room.

I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was big, comfortable and very cozy for an old building.

Turkey Hill Inn exceeded our expectations, from ease of check in and check out, to the hospitality. This is a charming place to stay and very conveniently located, steps from downtown Summit, New Jersey. The room was wonderful - the bed comfortable. Having grown up in Summit, this felt like home!

Turkey Hill Inn is the perfect place to stay when visiting Summit. We moved away a couple of years ago but enjoy returning visits. It is the perfect place to stay for a night out is Summit, returning for SHS Alumni events, local bridal and baby showers and of course weddings in the Summit vicinity. Walkable to shops and restaurants and maybe 2 miles from Short Hills Mall. It is a lovely historic building.

Incredibly charming old-fashioned hotel in a great location. They were very helpful booking a last-minute reservation and making sure our check-in went smoothly.

I grew up in this part of NJ and whenever I'm back, family members and I stay here. Very comfortable, ideally located. Easy walk to town and train to NY. Parking is a plus! The turret rooms are charming and the downstairs room has a separate sitting area which is great to relax and unwind. We love our time here and return every year.

We were forced to look for a hotel in Bloomsburg for a few nights and this seemed like a nice hotel.
However, it has below exceeded expectations. This is really a very charming hotel, very well run, small-scale, with very friendly staff, very beautiful garden and the softest bed sheets ever!
There are 2 options for dining and we dined in the brewery 3 times: casual, cozy and delicious. We also had an evening outside by the fire on the table! This was a real plus!
Highly recommended, definitely worth it for a few nights.
The Ricketts Glan State Park nature reserve is also close by and also recommended.
So we were really satisfied!

Great location within walking distance to downtown Summit, including the train station. Lovely room with a comfortable bed and daily maid service (except on Sundays) where they clean up your room, make the bed, refill the water, and give you fresh towels. There is coffee in the room (Keurig). Building and furnishings are old (in a good way) and everything is clean. Quiet at night too...we slept very well. Oh, and Maria the housekeeper is very nice too!

Check in was so east everything done the day before. So no waiting’s in lines or trying to navigate chaos like other hotels, but also no ridiculous high cleaning fees that you get with AirBNBs. It was the best of both worlds. The inn feels like I stepped into a Time Machine the historic decor is so well kept and preserved.Walkability: Everything you need within 3 blocks, but it was such a peaceful and quiet area. The subway was close enough to walk but far enough so you had no train noise. We even walked to a nice diner, there was plenty of restaurants all on the same strip.
