We brought my mother in to buy much needed shoes. We received excellent service and she walked out with 3 pairs of shoes.

They are the worst, as far as professionalism, ethics and information. I was referred to walk well by my podiatrist. I went and purchased a pair work shoes. Paid cash for them, I was informed when there by the manager "John" that there's a government program where as customers with diabetes are qualified to receive yearly a free pair of diabetic shoes free from this program. We were delighted to hear such news. We were given the application and told to pick a pair of diabetic shoes. Went back 2 weeks later to pick them up. A few weeks following I recieve a bill for $386.08. We call to ask why? We were told by John it was not approved by our medical provider. We asked why would he even try, you said it was through a diabetic program. He said he never said that. So I said ok sir I will return them. Then we got a bill for the same amount for orthotics, we never even recieved. Incredible, people please be aware of their tactics

Excellent inventory and exceptional customer service. My father has very wide feet and foot swelling due to health issues and Walk Well was able to accommodate him because they have larger sizes in stock including size 15 EEE. Over the course of 2 hours my father tried on over 20 pairs of shoes before he finally chose one and the salesman was so patient and gracious with him the entire time. We will definitely be back.

Excellent. Excellent customer service. The value of having a local shoe store where they really go above and beyond to ensure you get the right kind of shoe for you is tremendous! He was so receptive to what I needed and found me shoes that I would have never picked out on my own. I have challenging feet. Highly recommend.

Very helpful after my hip surgery! Highly recommend and will be returning soon because ordering sneaker online simply doesn't work for me! Hopefully still carrying New Balance.

Just got a reply on Google Maps from the store owner for a negative review I gave over 2 years ago calling me a “well known crank”. This after 2 years! He or she must have just met my wife of 41 years! I have only made a handful of reviews : 3 positive 2 negative for either extremely good products or services or the opposite. Please feel free to draw your own opinions.

This shoe store has great service and quality shoes. All lines of footwear are made for comfort and last a long time. My mom has been going to Walk Well for many years. The employees are patient and take the time to help each customer without rushing through a transaction. I think some of the employees are also pediatrists. They don't treat Medicare diabetic customers any differently because they have to fill out additional paperwork. We have tried many other stores that cater to these customers and they look unhappy when you walk through the door. Traveling to Summit from Essex County to purchase our shoes is worth the trip since we have a positive experience every time. My mom loves George who has been working at Walk Well for a long time. Today we had John help us. He was super cool and actually made shoe shopping fun!

Not a great experience. Went to Foot Solutions in West Caldwell and they were much more attention to my first time orthapedic needs. Decent selection but limited sizes.

I had purchased shoes there before, but on March 29 I went in, and was waited on by a male clerk who did not bother to measure my feet. Minor lapse. He said he would order the SAS shoes for me. Weeks went by and I heard nothing. (They had my number.) I called and was told that they would call SAS to find out what the holdup was... More weeks went by and I heard nothing. I went in and was told nothing about the reason for the delay, that they would check with SAS. No explana

Drove 30 miles to store.Looked at shoes for a half hour, while waiting for one of two sales clerks.Meanwhile other walk in customers came in and were assisted before us. Left the store telling the clerks they lost a customer.,but, they seemed unperturbed. No wonder online shopping Is taking over, especially with free returns available.
