Clients beware of being scammed with non-existent fees by this local branch!!I am a longtime local Summit resident and a member of Wells Fargo for 10+ years. This past week when visiting this local branch I was told by the Branch Manager, Bryan Igus, that I was required to pay a fee relating to checks with my account which I never had to pay before at other locations. Upon asking about this new “fee” he told me it was a “brand new company-wide policy that was just implemented”. Being an informed consumer I knew something was off as I was never informed of this new fee structure change - especially when he requested I pay the fee directly in cash.When returning home I called corporate who reassured me that this “new company-wide policy” does not exist and the representative also confirmed this by contacting the other local Wells Fargo branches (Millburn & Springfield). I was apologized to, was refunded the fee, and was told my situation would be forwarded for further review. She was unaware why Bryan Igus may have “mistakenly” applied this fake policy. Even if this may have been just a local branch policy, he should not and can not make the representation that it is throughout the entire company.In summary, the Branch Manager Brian Igus attempted to SCAM me by paying for a fee and justified it by saying it was for a new company-wide policy that in fact does not exist. He is preying on unsuspecting clients and hoping they do not confirm or look further into fees he described as mandatory and routine. I suggest clients proceed with their business at other non-predatory, local trustworthy branches due to his lack of integrity.A complaint has been filed with corporate and the Regional Manager for misleading/lying to clients about company policies. If you can not trust your branch manager how would you expect to trust them to maintain your best interest and security of your personal financials?

Derrick L. Was my Banker for today. Derrick was extremely professional and made me feel comfortable in his company. I recommend him to all people needing anything done at Wells Fargo. Truly a 5 star customer service professional

This is the absolute best location I have been to and I've banked with Wells Fargo for years and have been to many branches. The customer service is amazing and they take a true interest in talking to you and making you feel comfortable. Irene is the sweetest and so is her manager Taneisha (I hope I am spelling her name correct). Keep up the wonderful work, it doesn't go unnoticed.

My mother who is 87 and from another state, she lost her checkbook while she was here visiting our family. When we entered the bank, not only was every single bank employee polite and courteous, they were as helpful and eager to assist us as soon as possible. We were helped by Jason Smith. I was simply amazed at his patience and reassurance, that everything would be taken care of in a matter of minutes. The protection of my mothers accounts were an obvious important priority to him. As promised, in a matter of minutes and some strokes of the keyboard he had it completely secured. He processed everything needed to transfer all account values to new accounts. Being that my mom is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease, she can tend to be a bit of a story teller. As well as the loss of memory issues associated with the disease. Jason could not have been more gracious and understanding. Especially once he had completed his transactions to secure and transfer the accounts. He was incredibly patient with her, almost as if it were his own mother. I personally do not conduct my banking activities there, as I feel the same way about my bank. If I were for any reason to change, I would not have a second thought about banking there. This is a town of large bank accounts (I wish mine were one), and sometimes even larger ego's !! I happen to deal with the same customers that the bank does(in a different capacity), and there are some people that can not be pleased ! I am sure we do not have exclusive rights to that claim !!!
