As an an auto technician and former shop owner for over 35 years, and currently an automotive instructor, it's nice to see there are still great small businesses around for auto repair. I would high recommend Odell's for your car repair needs. Honest and trustsworthy.

I love this place. Dave was a champion and didn’t give up on my 2017 grand Cherokee not starting. Even took care of a pebble that hit into the weirdest place setting off a knock sensor freaking out the car’s computer.
Dave is a gentleman and a master mechanic. He didn’t even want to charge me anything but I insisted.

We came here on vacation recently and a few years ago for tire issues. The guy there was so nice and fixed it right away both times. Would highly recommend!

As an annual LBI visitor I never thought about needing car repairs here but this week my trusty Silverado had a blown front wheel bearing and needed to be towed to Odell’s Service Center on a Saturday night. Met with Dave Odell on Monday morning; received his VERY reasonable estimate for repair and it was done by the next day. He is iconic on LBI; super competent and fair priced. If I lived here he would be my go to guy. 5 stars+

Dave went above and beyond to help our family out during our LBI visit. He was upfront, honest, & transparent about the repair and timing. Took my car to Odell’s Service Center in Surf City, NJ to find what was causing the squeaky noise coming from the right front wheel. David quickly figured out the problem and let me know it was nothing serious, just some rust buildup that he removed. He fixed the problem quickly and at a very reasonable price. Thanks, David.

Excellent service, these guys have gotten me out of a jam twice, both times able to get me in right away and take care of the issue before a long drive out west. Very fair and honest shop, and very reasonable prices.

I was on vacation in 2023 and my alternator went, Dave was able to fix it same day on holiday weekend! Fast forward one year 2024 and I’m back on the island and my alternator went again! I went to Dave and he told me he would look in to it. He guaranteed the part so no charge and then to my surprise he didn’t charge labor as well!! Excellent service, trustworthy guy, highly recommend!! Thanks Dave !

Dave is a gem to deal with. No joke. I rolled in to his shop last week and needed to get the oil changed on my uncle's car, that I drove up from Florida. He fit me right in, and did an excellent job. Old time mechanics, like Dave are hard to find nowadays. Long Beach Island should be glad they have him. Hey Dave, if you get tired of the cold, we have a deep need for mechanics like you in Delray Beach, Florida.
