My girlfriends and I wanted to do something different and crafty so we decided to give this a shot. When booking on the phone, the woman was short, almost rude, but we just assumed she was busy. When we got there , they gave us very little direction. None of us had ever "cut glass" before, let alone did a project like this. The girls seemed annoyed every time we asked a question. And when they answered, they answered with attitude. I guess the one girl was tired of our questions, so she threw her hands up, said "I'm done!" and walked out of the room. This was a quiet, rainy afternoon in October, no need for the rudeness. Glass shards were all over the table so my one friend asked if she could have a paper towel to clean up. We were told they don't have any, and if we want one we could go to the bathroom. WHAT?? A craft place with no paper towels? I doubt it! Never again, save your money.

Would not recommend at all. Could go on and on about everything that was wrong. Called ahead of time for a party asking for 6x8 bricks to decorate. They set them out before we got there and when we went to pay they charged us for 8x8 bricks which was twice the price. Did they expect us to measure them on our own, they already had them picked out. Next, the girls who worked there that were suppose to help with our party never came out and checked on us. This is not meant for children. They have you cut the glass yourself! Very dangerous. They do not teach you how to cut and glass flies everywhere. Just overall very bad customer service.

Gorgeous place to shop. We took a fused glass class (though class is a generous word, not that 4 30-somethings needed too much in the way of babysitting) outside on a gorgeous fall day. Can't wait to pick up our finished pieces!

I purchased 3 take home mosaic kits for my children. I cannot begin to explain how much fun my kids had! After months of life being put on hold, SwellColors Glass Studio introduced us to such a fun, new activity. The finished products are beautiful and the process was great. Online videos helped us through the process and we were able to complete the craft with ease. My children are 13,9, and 6 and it was appropriate for them all. The staff was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Thank you! Thank you!

We went here because my daughter was in the mood to make something. I did an online search and called to see if they could take a walk-in. The response “No problem! Come on in!” Our experience was personalized and very customer focused. Once my daughter settled on making a mosaic mirror, they helped her get set up and then let her creativity reign. They had a wide selection of glass and specialty accent pieces. Once she was done and it had dried a bit they asked her what color grout she wanted. It was awesome to take the finished piece home during the same visit. I would highly recommend them
