“About 40 years ago I remember going there as a 6-7 year old child and there had to be at least a 1/2 dozen or so butchers working in there every time my mother would take me.the convever on the ceiling with the hooks attached to it had sides of pork hanging from it, Everybody working there kept busy processing the pork and the line was usually out the door.Everything was and still is as fresh as you can get. in my 40+ years of life I have Never had Fresher tasting pork anywhere but Hains Pork Shop 40 years later I still go there I'm Never disappointed, That's proly why they've been operating for over 150 years.If you enjoy eating fresh Pork and you haven't been there your missing out on a Land mark Butcher Shop”
“I just purchased this brand for the first time and was very impressed. I didn't go to their store but bought it at another retailer. I tried the hot Italian sausage and it clearly is quality meat. “The there price for meats and other things just wish store was a lot bigger workers are very pleasant and friendly I was planning a party for my granddaughter and was talking about moon bounces and how hard it was to find one that time of year well one of the gentleman told me about Big Var and gave me the number and address where to go which was a couple of blocks away from the store and Big Var was available to New Castle Delaware and save the day for me with out a problem thanks Sam and Sam's for the help and great customer service”
“The food is very good especially the Broccoli Salad. The service is top notch. Love the smells of food cooking store is clean. The deli staff are fun watching how they interact. I like that they get to know the regular customers and make you feel welcomed when you ship there. The cashiers do great work always friendly.”
“The service was fast, worth the money spent because it's affordable. Rack of beef ribs cost $22.00, burnt cow skin is $30 in the bag and $21.00 for dried turkey in the bag. They offer to cut the pieces to the size of your choice. Polite staff.”
