I recently purchased a package of prosciutto and it was sliced SO thin that it literally fell apart into tiny bits as I very carefully tried to separate a slice from the rest. I tried with three separate pieces before I gave up. I had bought them to wrap around a fig with cheese but that was clearly not going to happen. I had to drive all the way back to the supermarket and buy another brand of prosciutto to accomplish the hors d'oeuvre I wanted to make for a party. This was my first and last time purchasing a Veroni product.
