I've been ordering from Wedgewood for a long time for my cat's medication, and it's been expensive but at least consistent - recently, however, the customer service has gone downhill and so has the consistency. I ordered a medication for my cat and was told it would take no more than 5 days to process before shipping - 10 days later, the order hadn't even started being prepared. When I called the pharmacy, they said that the medication was out of stock and wasn't going to ship for another 13 days. I find it really concerning that a pharmacy wouldn't notify you at the time of your order that the medication you ordered is out of stock, and wouldn't bother updating shipping times or even sending an email to update you on when the medication is supposed to arrive. This isn't some trivial order, these are medications that animals require in order to live. I'll be moving over to Chewy, as the same medication is 40% cheaper and ships for free within a couple days. It's just not worth paying $10 shipping and $20 extra on the price if the service isn't better.

It appears I am one of far TOO many people who are not getting the much needed pet meds that I have been charged for. My card was charged 1/22/24. Today, after waiting a long time to get a call back, I was told it will be a minimum of at least two more weeks before my order MAY ship. This situation is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and INEXCUSABLE!!! My pup is a 15 year old senior pup with serious health challenges who CANNOT afford to not receive meds in a timely manner! BAD COMPANY!

For online orders, this company is EXTREMELY slow. I called in an order and it was confirmed on Jan. 25. Today is the 31st and there's been no movement. When I called, I got an automated message saying it should ship on Feb. 13. It's outrageous that it should take nearly three weeks to ship. Plus several more days before it arrives in the mail. Meanwhile my cat will experience a lag in his meds and have to deal with the issues that they were designed to alleviate.

Used Wedgewood for my dogs fluoxetine, when I did not receive her auto renewal I called them. They stated there was only one fill left on the script but they only had a partial bottle of it. I said I would take whatever amount they had because my dog could not go without the medicine. I asked to pay for expedited shipping as this clearly was an emergency. When I didnt receive the medicine I thought it was a UPS problem. When I went onto my account the order said delayed, how could it be delayed when they said it was sent out? When I called and spoke to a representative they stated the medicine would now be sent out on February 19th three weeks from now. My dog cannot go without the medicine for a month. I am now scrambling around with my vet to have a pharmacy compound the medicine and over night it to me. BEWARE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, DO NOT USE THEM. THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR PETS WELL BEING.

Do not use this pharmacy. I cannot recommend it and feel compelled to warn others about how bad it is. Pharmacies provide a valuable service and our lives and the lives of our companion animals may depend on receiving medicines and medical supplies in a timely fashion. At the recommendation of a new vet, I used the pharmacy in December 2023 to compound essential medication for my with a flareup of Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome. The first time I received the medication in a timely manner, and there was no problem with the delivery. But when I wanted a refill earlier this month, I called the pharmacy several times but each time a recording said the wait time was longer than 20 or 30 minutes and if I left a phone number a pharmacist would call back. I never heard back from the pharmacy. I also emailed the pharmacy. Once again, crickets. It has been more than three weeks and no one from Wedgewood has either called or emailed me about the refill. I am thankful that I found an excellent compounding pharmacy within a 15-minute drive and was able to get the compounded medication for my cat within 24 hours. I have no idea of what is going on but this pharmacy is NOT reliable. Don't risk using it.

The first couple months were great. Was on auto ship. Then it stopped coming. Called and they said there were no more refills. I'll take the blame for that. They have had my cats chemo compounded medicine prescription since January 4th here it is January 22nd and I STILL DON'T have it. He's already missed one dose. Called they said there's a 19 day turn around on compounded medicine. No one has ever mentioned this before 19 Days to make medicine ??? Ridiculous. I thought roadrunner was bad. But it WOULD never take 19 days to get. Definitely switching to another pharmacy ASAP

The refill of my cat's Fluoxitine was clearly not of the same quality as prior bottles dispensed It was a thin consistency , clearly not compounded After 2 attempts to administer to my cat , she responded by vomiting immediately followed by 10mins drooling & retching I have extreme concern regarding the ability of this product to pass through whatever quality control exists in your pharmacy I called, spoke with a pharmacist who assured me I would be reimbursed for this product Meantime , I'm told that there is no comparable replacement as there is no Fluoxitne powder available! I feel that not only has my trust & confidence in your pharmacy been compromised but now, I have the additional burden of quickly trying to find medication for my cat This is incompetent , unsafe & unacceptable for me! Not to mention reportable!!

Lucky gained his wings shortly after I wrote this review...I contacted the pharmacy and I was told their compounded prescriptions come in large batches, however they advertise that they are compounded individually...They will lie to you ..

Good luck getting ahold of any costumer service. Something big is going on with this company and it's not good. I have used this company for years without an issue but now they don't answer any phones or return messages.

I am sadly very disappointed in my experience with Wedgewood Pharmacy. I have had 3 pets receive prescriptions through Wedgewood. My first dog, who passed in 2020, received his medications on time with little to no issue. But the problems arose with my second dog who had prescriptions with the pharmacy. I love to rescue seniors, so I often have dogs with numerous medical conditions. Such was the case with my 15-year-old dachshund. She was on numerous medications provided by Wedgewood. For years, her medication was constantly delayed, causing her to go into withdrawal and making her dementia-episodes much longer, more erratic, and more upsetting for her. On medication, she would sleep through the night, but without it, she would cry and yelp for hours on end with nothing we could do to help ease her stress. The first and even second time it happened, I thought it was just a small mistake, but then EVERY SINGLE MONTH her medication would be delayed sometimes by days, other times by weeks, and once more than a month. She would be in utter misery and I would be on the phone constantly trying to fix it. I would always receive the runaround. "We need you to verify your address." "We need you to confirm your credit card." "We never received a prescription." I would verify my address and credit card constantly - neither of which changed. I would have the vets call Wedgewood directly to fix the missing prescriptions but it happened every time no matter which specialist was contacting the pharmacy. I'm writing this review now after the last month of trouble I have run into with my 10-year-old who was just diagnosed with a heart condition and prescribed a heart medication in early December (that we have yet to receive). I have been on the phone with them over 5x this week trying to solve the issue. 2x I have been told they didn't have the prescription, in spite of the fact that I received emails confirming the prescription was received. Regardless, I had the vet re-send the prescription 2 different times. Next they told me I had 2 accounts somehow? So they cancelled one of my accounts and I kept access to one. No prescriptions were listed on my account except those belonging to my deceased dog, who I was told months ago would be removed from my account so I didn't get requests for refills (as this made me very sad to be reminded of the loss). After they allegedly fixed my account, they told me the medication would be sent soon. It wasn't. I called them back. They once again said they don't see the prescription. One godsend of a lady (godbless her!) discovered that the prescriptions were being sent to the account they had shut down so she then re-instated my other account and shut down the one they had just activated before. Then they "fixed" the prescription and confirmed the order and payment. This was last week. Today I received a voicemail that my prescription was cancelled because there are too many pills for how long the shelf life is (i.e. the bottle won't be completely empty by the time it expires). I have confirmed MULTIPLE times before that I approve of them adjusting the prescription for this purpose. I have confirmed this every month for my previous dog's medication. I cannot make these adjustments via my account because nothing ever shows up on the account. NOW I have to call them again in hopes to fix yet another issue which will likely take several more weeks before I finally get my dog his heart medication. HEART MEDICATION. This is not something that can be delayed. It broke my heart staying up at night with my previous senior while she walked in circles and yelped for hours going through withdrawal of her medication. And now my 10-year-old is diagnosed with a heart issue and he's having active symptoms and I am desperate for their help and begging to receive the medication I have already paid for and confirmed. I know that Wedgewood has a wonderful purpose of compounding medication for animals in need. And I know that there are people t

I can't be sure that this place is a real pharmacy. The customer service is nonexistent. I have been on hold for over an hour to try and cancel a order that they obviously forgot about and still haven't got to talk to a live person. I even selected the call me back feature earlier in the day with no joy there. The only reason I haven't called them an outright scam is that they haven't charged me for my pet's medication as of yet. YMMV

They shipped me a product that says it has a shelf life of 270 days and I received a product with a 180 days shelf life. I called to ask for a credit and was told that their products are short dated and I should have called to check the date before I ordered it. I have been a customer of this pharmacy for years and have never called to ask for a credit of any kind. They said they can't put exact expiration dates on their website, so make sure you call anytime you are placing an order for a medication. They will not let you return it or give you a credit.

Dear Business Owner, Notice a pattern in the past year? Your company has serious issues, and I'm letting every veterinarian I've known or currently work with to avoid your company at all costs. Here's hoping more people online see the reviews like mine before they end up in this situation. My cat's chemo medication has doubled in cost this past year. I noticed you provided excuses for that in other 1-star reviews that mentioned cost. But we, as customers, know that all you want is more money from us. Too bad we can find the medication cheaper on Chewy.com. (Oh, and they'll ship it a lot faster than Wedgewood as well.) Now, I'm being told my cat's chemo pills (a bottle of 10) will expire, aka the Use By date will pass, before all the pills in the bottle can be administered according to the Rx instructions. I walked your Senior Management member through the calendar and, yes, indeed, at least 1-2 of the pills will expire before we can use them. But Wedgewood didn't initially oblige me a discount or reduction in cost for the soon-to-be-bad pills you want to ship. (Yes, I asked.) Instead, you expect me to pay in full for 10 pills when 2 of them would go bad. Wedgewood also refused to compound more. Instead, you prefer to continue shipping out the 1,000+ pills left on your shelves that will be expiring before people can get through the bottle they paid for. This clearly demonstrates you are only concerned about the money. I diligently follow my vet's instructions for this medication, and I believe that's a big part of the reason why my cat's still alive. Wedgewood, however, has now placed both myself and my vet in a situation where his care may be compromised. You neither care about this nor are you sorry for what I've experienced, as your reps claim. It's all B.S. and we see through it. I was finally offered a deduction of the shipping cost. Sounds good, but it doesn't fix the overall problem with the way this pharmacy is run and still leaves me with a gut inclination to avoid your pharmacy at all costs. Of course, I have yet to see whether you can manage to ship these pills in a timely manner, which seems to be an increasing problem over the past year given the reviews ... At best, these are terrible business practices, evident of a pharmacy headed for disaster and possibly closure, and I hope veterinarians stop suggesting Wedgewood altogether. At worst, there may be something illegal or outside of FDA/USP policies going on here. I'd love to report it them and let them know you're offloading blame onto them for this issue, when it was clearly YOUR choice to sell full Rxs that won't meet veterinarian dosing guidelines and/or charging more for fewer pills in an original Rx.
